I'm on a bit of a movie roll at the movie.

Ed Wood - 7/10 - It wasn't as good as I remembered it to be, but definitely still entertaining and it's subject matter is something I do find fascinating.

Alien - 8/10 - It's a great film. So entertaining and relentless in its action scenes and doesn't waste to much time on to much boring development like so many American movies tend to. Instead of telling us something, Ridley Scott prefers to show us and it's great! I do think it has aged though.

Brassed Off - 7/10 - Again, another movie that has not aged well. I found it kind of dull which is saying something because I do usually like that style of movie. Brassed Off even got a bonus point for the oh so adorable young Ewan McGregor.

The Girlfriend Experience - 4/10 - Holy crap this was bad. I don't even know what to say. Sacha Grey is so unlikable and dull in it and it tries to be intelligent but terribly terribly fails. Ugh.

Still have 4 more movies to watch - Aliens, Fright Night, Don't Be Afraid of The Dark and The Ides of March.
 
Fright Night - 8/10 - Shirtless David Tennant & Colin Farrell as a sexy as all hell vampire?! Uhhmmm... YES! Exactly the way I like my teen horror flicks in general. Absolutely enjoyed it with a big pile of popcorn and the lights off.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark - 4/10 - Steaming. Pile. Of. Poo. The CGI was just so so embarrassing to watch and the storyline was dull. It is a shame really cause the little girl actress did really well with an annoyingly written and stereotypical bratty type and Katie Holmes was entirely likeable.

The Ides Of March - 6.5/10 - It just wasn't my type of movie. It didn't feel like much was happening and I struggled through it. I don't want to be to harsh on it because I really don't know much about how American politics works but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm sure some people would enjoy it.

When I ssaw Fright Night last halloween I thiught it was great and actually beter than the original.
Pulp Fiction - 9/10 I enjoyed it and will probably watch it again one day, a fun movie to watch

Pulp Fiction is my third favorite movie. Even though some scenes are pretty... sick, it's a real masterpiece. One of the most entertaining movies, in my opinion.
Mean Girls 2 - 5/10

Compared to Mean Girls, it was terrible. (Though I expected it to be 😛 )

I haven't been watching as many movies as usual lately, and the ones I watch are mostly Spielberg movies for my essay.. but I did see

I know what you did last summer

I actually wanted to see the sequel but the girl at the movierentalplace put the wrong dvd in the case, but I watched it anyway I hadn't seen it in years. The only parts I liked were the ones with Ryan Phillippe, not because he was good, he was just really funny when was screaming "you shut the hell up!" LOL.
I think the story kinda sucks, when you find out who the killer is and everything it's just disappointing. 2/5.

Cold Light of Day - 8/10.

Plenty of action with a decent story line and it was good to see the older actor/esses like Bruce Willis and Sigourny(?)
 
The Usual Suspects - 9/10
Fricking awesome! Watched it for the seventh time or so and it's still great!
Benicio Del Toto and Kevin Spacey are amazing. Love this movie.

The Avengers 9/10 Not the best thing ever like I had built it up in my mind to be. But still very, very good.

The Iron Lady - 10/10.

Excellent film for those into British political history. When she was in power I was a typical anti-Thatcherite. But over the years my political views have changed as well as my party.
 
Casino - 8/10
Great performances by Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone as well.
I think I prefer this one to Scorsese's other gangster classic Goodfellas.

Men in Black - 8/10
Always fun. I love Edgar. He's one of the funniest characters in the history of cinema! 😀
I'm really looking forward to MIB 3.

Dark Shadows 5/10 nothing of what I expected. It had it's moments but not enough for it to be a comedy and it wasn't dark enough to be a drama/thriller.
 
Goodbye Lenin ! 9/10. Incredibly moving, funny and more importantly : not black and white ! A movie I always enjoy watching.
 
Make it Happen 7/10 Not the best dance movie I've seen, but a nice story and the Burlesque part was something you don't see quite so often. Change of the usual hip-hop/ballet/pop combination.

Ocean's Eleven 10/10 Still one of my favorite movies. I've never been a huge fan of George Clooney or Brad Pitt, but this movie makes them shine both for me. And Matt Damon is just adorable 😀 And of course not to forget Julia Robert. Not her greatest role, but she was good in it, as always.

Push 8/10 Great movie, great actors (Chris Evans & Dakota Fanning!) The only problem for me is the end. It was obviously written for a sequel which, considering the disastrous opening this movie had - if I remember correctly - will never happen. But apart from that, it is another action movie that was awesome, no matter what the critics said 🙂
