Are you excited about Batman VS. Superman? Because the prospect of that just depresses me espically with that hack Snyder directing.

Watchmen is the proof that Snyder can direct. But Batman vs Superman? nah that just looks like an awful movie, partially due to Ben Affleck.

Yeah and his other eight movies are proof than he can't😀

What! Everything before MoS was awesome
Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, Man of Steel were good movies..

never saw Legend of the Guardians

And then you have Sucker Punch

Those are all the movies he has directed. He has had more hits than misses.

Legend of the Guardian was a great movie,at least on par with the other stuff he's done

Fair enough if you liked them, but I wasn't a fan. Thought he made a pigs ear of remaking DOTD turning it into an action film was just such a bad idea. Watchmen is the only one which I thought he did a good job with, and I guess the key to that was him sticking close to the source material. It still has flaws, but it is pretty solid anyway.

White Hot American Summer (2001) 7.5/10

Was really impressed how a series of crude gags, and slacker actics could lead to such a surreal, insane, and oddly sweet nostigria trip. The style is a pure delight, and you can tell that the cast is having a real blast, and a number of really entertaining performances are played with just the right level of gusto and irony, with David Hyde Piece a stand out for me, proving why he should've been the lead on Fraiser. And now I can watch the TV show series😉
@GwenRaiden Oh no, so you missed the sequel to "Wet Hot American Summer"😉

Don't you mean "Wet"?

Glad you like it! I was worried. lol
@GwenRaiden Many people actually mocked the movie, but more directly the show, by calling it White Hot American Summer as there were no people of color in either the show or the series. There was the obligatory 'boycott' the movie for it's 'whitewashing.' Ergo Wet became White.

Nope! Didn't even know it existed til now. I have a thing for Janeane Garofalo though.

You seen Truth About Cats and Dogs? Such a cool film, and loved her in Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion too! Think she does her own stand up too which would be cool to see.

You name it (Janeane Garofalo film), I've seen it
So I finally got around to seeing Ant-Man last night... 3/5

It wasnt bad, but... wasn't great either.

Conherence (2012) 7.5/10

Very low budget, and character driven Sci-Fi thriller centered around the events of a Comet and its effects on a Neighbourhood, and the plot follows a group at a dinner party. I liked how believable the relationships were in the film, and how the tension started to slowly build, the cast all do a good job having to jungle many different things, and like many great Sci-Fi's it is a film of ideas, but has lots of suspense to it also.

Serial Mom (1994) 8/10

John Waters brings his bad taste and oddball antics to this satire of the fame in American, the film also brilliantly sends up the plastic notion of the American dream and is Water's response to conservative values I believe. Kathleen Turner is good ripe fun, and the film packs in a number of good sight and gross out gags or landing their a punch. Maybe Water's last great film too.

Serial Mom! I remember first time my sister and I saw that one in the 90s and were so blown away by it. Still love it (though I haven't seen it in a while so I suppose that might be erroneous to say)

I haven't seen it yet, so no spoilers 😛
Hoping that it's better than AOU, which wasn't nearly as good as the first avengers movie...

I thought you liked spoilers! ;) And just about anything would be better than AOU.

Yeah same here, its just funny that the film claims to be based on a True story too which actually I only found out recently that it wasn't😀 The level of detail is brilliant.

lol I always wonder when you see "based on a true story" if they really are lol

Well that is what partly what knocked me sidewise seeing it as a teen, because it was like "can all this really have any truth to it" but then that was part of the whole gag😀
