It was an ok movie. I mean, being shallow the male strippers were hot and all, but I didn't really care about Mike's story, and especially the sister. She was bad, and they had no chemistry, and I just didn't care whether or not they get together. But it was interesting to see this world of male stripping. I am actually really surprised by how many men have seen this movie. lol.Magic Mike: 7/10.
So yeah I watched this and was left with the overwhelming urge to do lots of crunches afterwards. 😛
All-in-all this was okay, the dance scenes where pretty darn impressive even for me and this is probably Channing Tatum's best film performance yet. It is kinda shallow and unoriginal as a film though- the conclusion that it comes to is that apparently male stripping isn't something you should make a career out of. Shocking. 😉

Yeah, the sister was TERRIBLE. Just this expressionless...I couldn't ever get a bead on her character or what she was trying to convey. All the male strippers apart from Mike and Dallas (MM was great but then he usual is these days) were really one-note parts.
There weren't really any other prominent female characters apart from the sister, who I couldn't stand. I just didn't care about their relationship at all.
I just heard that this is getting a sequel. I have to say I can't see any of the reasoning, apart from the obvious that is. 😀

I thought the movie had a terrible script but, you know, eye candy. 50 shades of Grey could learn something from Magic Mike lol
Amen.
Mad Max: Fury Road... 10 out of 10. A masterpiece and an Oscar Contender.
I don't remember leaving the movie theater so satisfied... AWESOME MOVIE.
Well don't think its the sort film which wins Oscars. It did impress me but I would go as far as to call it a masterpiece Tom Hardy lets it down a bit.
I don't see it b-movies even ones with sort of budget don't tend to do too well at the Oscars. It could get some techical nods if anything.

I am reading now that people are complaining it's not realistic to the actual lifestyle and that all it does is glamorize the profession. LOL.. really?magicmike xxl
Yea I'm not saying it was a bad movie, just not for me. I'm not an action movie person, I felt like there wasn't a whole lot of story to it, or it just didn't work for me. I did think the villain looked creepy as F***, seriously scares me with that face. I also have not seen any of the other Mad Max movies, so this one just didn't make me feel anything for Max.@Fuffy Baith makes an excellent point. Maybe the movie is not for everyone. Movies are al subjective. While I find Man of Steel Awesome... 5o percent of the audience hated it. Our tastes are different. That doesn't mean movies are extremely good or god awful. They are that. Movies.

It Follows (2/10)
This got 5 stars from pretty much everything I looked at. I was so bored that I nearly cheered when the credits rolled; not because it was good, but because I could go and do my supervision report, which seemed exciting in comparison. It gets 2 only for its score and fairly creepy locations.
