I recently purchased 24 DVDs at a shop that were having outlet, I don't buy dvds as much anymore but idk, I couldn't help myself 😀 haven't watched all of them yet...

I'll admit that the only reason I picked this up is because Steve Howey is in it, and I'd watch anything he's in no matter how bad it is. And this was bad. 0,5/5.

Very disappointing honestly, I'm a huge fan of the TV show which is hilarious, but this was sort of lame. The part with the chicken was funny as hell, but that was the only really funny bit... but I'm still glad to own it. but 2,5/5.
 
The Big Lebowski: 10/10

You know, that or his Dudeness, or Duder or uh El Duderino if you're not into that whole brevity thing." 😀 This movie never fails to crack me up. It's beyond hilarious, and I watch it everytime I need a good laugh. It's a classic.

It's a bitch typing on my computer right now so I'm not gonna get into all the things that bothered me while watching this garbage, but okey, the tagline for it is "If it were easy, men would do it too". Do what? what is it that SJPs character does in this film that her husband doesn't?
and if you're gonna make a movie showing womens struggle balancing work and motherhood, that's great, how about doing it about a woman with actual struggles and not some whiny **** crying cos her nanny took her kid to the hairdresser.. she has a nanny! c'mon.. what was the point of this movie and was this supposed to be a comedy ?... Rant over. not even gonna rate it..
 
Catch Me If You Can - 8/10

Really nice movie. Includes one of my favorite scenes, Tom Hanks' knock knock joke 😀
 
Titanic 10/10 😀 I'd probably give it a 8/10 or a 7.5 if it didn't remind me of my childhood. Ugh. It came out when I was 4 and I saw it for the first time when I was about 5 or 6.

One of my parents bought me the VHS. There were two tapes. On the cover of the first one they're smiling and everyone's happy and on the second one, the ship is sinking and they're sobbing. Ohhh it never gets old. Sometimes I would skip the first tape all together muahaha. My cousin and I also used to get a kick out of rewinding the tape so we could see the ship rise from the water and watch the people fly out of the water and onto the boat.

So yes, 10 points for nostalgia! It was also way better on the big screen. I did not see it in 3D btw. I refused. Hmph!
 
"The Hunger Games" 7/10

I know that it's very popular and a lot of the fans of the books will be going to see it. I did, in fact, enjoy it, but it didn't really thrill me, and the whole idea of the Games just didn't make any sense to either my wife or me. Maybe if I had read the books, I would have enjoyed it more.
 
4/10 "This Means War" - meh. It was kind of funny, at times, but most of it was just predictable. I like the relationship between the guys but I didn't feel convinced by Reese Witherspoon or their relationships to her. For me she was the weakest part of the movie (except for the whole using CIA tools to stalk... sorry 'date' a woman, but in the interest of a comedy I can see the point behind all of that silly though it may be it is funny when you put it into the comedy movie concept.)
 
Big Fish.

This is the third time I've watched this movie, the first time I turned it off after idk like 30 minutes, the second time I watched it all the way through but I was super bored with it. but people keep telling me how amazing this film and "oh Tim Burton is so great" no he's not! but I saw it again. and just I don't like it! it's so childish... 1/5.
 
The Hunger Games - 9/10
Left out some small things / lines I'd have liked to of seen from the book. Aside fro that, I really really enjoyed it. Kept me on the edge of my seat even though I knew what happened. xD
 
Hunger Games 7/10... could have been much better, didn't like the way that anyone nice was conveniently killed by someone else so she didn't have to struggle with the moral dilemma of killing a good guy... a little unrealistic.
 
The Break-Up... not even sure how to rate it? Was that supposed to be funny? Or sad? Cause it was just kind of... really sad and just well let's just say I was not rooting for those two to ever be in a room together again.

The only reason I'll give it a grade (5/10) at all is because I think it'll serve an excellent purpose, all little girls and boys who watch Disney's "The Little Mermaid" should be forced to watch "The Break up" after it (call it a 5-year later sequel if you will 😉)
 
Se7en - 8/10

Pretty cool. Reminded me sometimes a bit of The Silence of the Lambs, not least because the music was by Howard Shore.
The cast is also outstanding: Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt and
Kevin Spacey.

"Titanic: 3D"- 8/10

I saw "Titanic: 3D" in theaters Friday night, and while there were a few scenes where the 3D effects really lept out at me, for the most part it felt like the same as the first 3 times I watched it in theaters. It was cool, but I felt like they could have worked with the 3D a little more.
