Reality Live Chats, Part 3 (All International Editions: Survivor, Traitors, BB, Amazing Race, etc)

Stefs shirts give away the scrabble edit, shes going from a blue shirt to an orange one, so its obvious this is lots of different before/after conversations being stuck together to confuse us and its more annoying than anything else.
That's a good catch! I've noticed they do have different outfits this season, but I don't notice when they change them. I never thought they got extra outfits in previous seasons (except maybe a pair of shorts and a jacket), but they clearly do in this one.

TBH $2mill should be the prize now with inflation.
I agree! When Survivor started in 2000, jury members would demand to know what a potential winner planned to do charitably with the money. Then about 10 years ago, it became "I will try to invest it to benefit my family." Now they don't even ask, because $1 mil isn't what it used to be.

Just came across this graphic for Survivor 50. Is it me or does Jeff look sinister here? Also, their choices for which players would be featured seem rather odd. No Ozzy or Colby, but Rizzo is included. Six of the twelve players shown have already been voted out. And Dee looks like she's expecting the Rapture. 😆

I rekon this is why we get some real duds on reality tv here now, the prize money for Big Brother is so low, its not worth it for a lot of people to take the time off work.

Not competition related, but I have been watching s10 of 90 day fiancé and this is hilarious reality tv, of the trashy variety. I must find the fandom, it is going to be nuts!

Do they actually get married, and stay married?
Survivor 50: How does Jonathan keep skating through, when he is the instigator of a lot of the attempted vote-outs?

Rick was so funny with his exuberance after reading about his idol, but he might as well have used it this time, as it wasn't going to be good for long. I'm not sure what Joe finds so disgusting about Rick - the fact that he made up a fake idol, or his dancing around? It's funny, in his previous season, Joe seemed like the soul of honor, but this season he just seems sanctimonious.

That was a new one, I think, having the judges overrule Jeff. I never even knew they had those. Tiff took it really well, I think, though I would have rather that she had won. In the end, though, I thought Jonathan did a good job going back and forth with people, and that's saying something because I don't think
Jon is a great player.

I really enjoyed the discussions and the tribals for once, instead of feeling they went on too long. I was sorry to see Emily go, though glad it wasn't Cirie. And it was tough on Emily to have to go sit with the jury immediately, instead of having some private time to cry! Sorry to see Ozzy go, too, though he's always been more the muscle than the brains, and it was that way this time, too. His accusatory looks at the other players made me roll my eyes; does he expect them to just hand him the $2 million? Still, he's a good guy, and his tearful regrets about his dad definitely resonated with me.

All in all, it was a great deployment of advantages. If only Ozzy had used his idol, it would have been a rare trifecta. Too bad Genevieve's long gone, so the idol can't boomerang back to her!

Woot made it to friday without spoilers again. Even going on social media 😀 That would never happen with aussie tv! As soon as the east sees it, the whole country is spoiled.
Here we go! Now that it is double the money, I hope an old school player wins even more so. Although in terms of the newbies, Jonathon is playing hard.

Back to the Devens show. Hahahah the cut to Joe is hilarious. Tiff forgetting (conveniently) that ozzy is old now and less of a threat than she is. Aww sop part for Ozzy, I do feel for him. They are trying to soften us up to Ricks now too. I still like Ozzy more.

I like this challenge, reminds me of the lols with Q. "Not fat, they're girthy" hahahah I feel like Aubry made the biggest splash possible too lol. Tiff proving shes the challenge beast. Ooohhh drama! Been a long time since we've seen this happen. YAS! I am actually happy that Jonathan got that because he was probably on the chopping block... maybe double bad news for Tiff?

Oh no not another twist 🙁 I duno about this... One of those just let them play might have been just as fun.

Bahahah dance idol dance.

Hmmm if They all plie on Rick then he decides who goes, I dont like this plan, but at least Emily is fighting. Yep Emily just explained it out. I hope Cirie uses her extra vote 2-2-2 might be the safest bet?

Oh Ozzy, I duno... being split from your brain Cirie is not great for you. And now he's spilling it all whhhhyyyyy? Aubrys face lmao! With you on this Rizz!! Did Ozzy dig his grave? Jonathan could throw Aubry pretty far really. Joe cant do maths. Rizz would forgive this move Joe.

Cirie driving both sides is amazing. Lets see if Rizz comes through for his alliance or if he takes the chance to get that threat out.

Yeah dont buy Emilys story here Cirie, play the vote. Rick is not risking his own ass.

First votes... PHEW... so did they all get a revote? I duno why I thought Emily and Cirie couldnt revote, so was worried for a second there. That was close for Cirie. Forcing the extra vote play might make room for more twists which might be annoying again.

Right, lets see Aubry vs Ozzy... If Ozzy doesnt play the idol, I fear he is toast. Uhoh.... how will it go... Ozzy cannot play without his brain. Yep you got cocky Ozzy. Sad for him but he was a bit dumb tonight.

Aubry made the biggest splash possible too
I wondered if the splashing would cause the other triangles to rock more, and if they were doing it deliberately. Still, it's good that no one smacked their head on the platform going down.

Oh no not another twist 🙁 I duno about this... One of those just let them play might have been just as fun.
I thought so, too, but I think they only have two more episodes left (the last being three hours), so they need to thin the numbers.

First votes... PHEW... so did they all get a revote? I duno why I thought Emily and Cirie couldnt revote, so was worried for a second there. That was close for Cirie.
Yeah, I thought usually the players to be voted on didn't get to vote, but I guess it was different because Cirie had an extra vote, and she got to vote twice in the re-vote, too. So that was unusual.

Cirie is playing a master game, and no one really seems to realize the threat that she is! She said she had a code word for Ozzy to use his idol; I wish she had tried to send a coded message via Jonathan. But I suppose she thought of that, and couldn't think of a way to do it without its being obvious.

November
November
Aubry definitely wanted to make waves!
HAHAHA Cirie was funny. I wasnt sure if she was going to be mad at Riz for not telling Ozzy to play the idol, I think she gets it, anyone would take that chance at a big threat like Ozzy. Cirie was Ozzys brains, he could not survive without her.

Joe can spell! It was smart to take Cirie and Riz, strategically. Best choices, hes smarter than he looks.

Aww boohoo Rick doing his speech, but I love hearing about the stars. Rick played his shot in the dark, for sure is gone now. Yep see ya. I liked that ep, no silly twists and the threat is gone. It must be a double ep because the stream is only halfway through. Good bye to the Devens show!

Now there is 4 from 40's and 2 old school. Imagine if it was an Aubry vs Cirie final! 40's have the power. But Tiff wants Riz gone. Aubry is thinking now. Who does she want next to her? Rizrat is a better name than Rizgod, he even looks like one. The water on the beach looks phenomenal, I just want to go swimming! Riz getting cocky...

This immunity looks physical. Joe, Tiff, Jonathon look like they might be running the vote if they win. Smooth on the beam Joe, wow that was hot. Back to spelling again, Joe does not have the best record with this puzzle lol. I can say one thing abot the 40's, it had some hilarious moments! Go Joe, you got the right word you just gotta spell it.
Cant believe how close it is because Joe cant spell. Tiff has to see that they arnt supporting her in this... If Tiff comes from behind it will be incredible for her. Good one! Loved this challenge! Fun to watch.

Im surprised it is Cirie vs Aubry, I thought they'd go for the big boys - Cirie and Aubry are not challenge threats. Why not link up, Cirie aubry tiff could have taken out a challenge threat. Although maybe most want to sit next to Joe at the end? I didnt consider that, I know the jury see him as a bit if a brat. Cirie won the traitors, maybe they havent forgotten that.

Cirie in pigtails makes me fear for her. Riz could do something cool with his idol if Cirie is the vote, but hes too selfish a player to do that. Awww thats my winner pick gone!

Rick has not been my favorite, but at least he was honest about idol-hunting. "Lost a contact." 😀 And I liked his speech about the stars.

Both Rick and Cirie gave gracious exit speeches. Rick even said, "Time for me to go," before Jeff could. That distinguishes them from Ozzy, who still struggled with strategy this season. He was so bitter at his leaving, like he still doesn't get how the game is played. He messed up his own game, telling Aubry his plans, but I hope he didn't mess it up for Cirie, too. I suppose she was a big enough threat to be kicked out, though, without Ozzy drawing attention to her. Still, she was my favorite, and I was sorry to see her go.

I don't know if you saw it, November, but there was another chance for fans to vote on this episode. It was which player we wanted the singer Sia to give $100,000 to. I voted for Cirie. But then, every other vote has gone the opposite of what I wanted, so I'm not holding my breath for this. I understand it's going to be a live reunion, when I voted for the winner to be announced at their last tribal. I hate all the extra stuff in live reunions, like asking audience members what they think, hearing from Boston Rob, family hugs, etc. But I guess that's what they're doing.

I wish more challenges were like the ones on this episode, emphasizing patience not strength. I was happy to see Tiff win, when everyone was conspiring against her. Aubry was a dope not to try to do her own puzzle. It might almost have been her voted out!

Now there is 4 from 40's and 2 old school.
That's a good catch! I'm guessing it's because 40s are less well-known and therefore considered less of a threat. But maybe they're also better at the cutthroat strategizing. Or maybe it's just that they're younger and stronger and winning immunities. (Though I haven't checked which group has won more this season.)

Although maybe most want to sit next to Joe at the end? I didnt consider that, I know the jury see him as a bit if a brat.
I would. Joe is a good guy, but he hasn't done much with strategy this season. It's something that he has lasted while not being in alliances. He has been in some, but they haven't been strong. And he always seems to be following the lead on votes. I don't think he'll have much of a resume' at the end. Rizo has done some, but I don't think people respect him as a newbie. So if it were I, I would want Joe and Rizo sitting next to me. I don't much care for Jonathan, but I think he has a case to win. I'm rooting for Tiff or Aubry, though.

Yeah Im going for Tiff of Aubry now too. I just dont understand why the three girls didnt vote for one of the men, but I suppose they knew Cirie would beat them all out if she got to the end. Im glad she got your vote for the $100,000!

If it was the aussie show, Riz would have played the idol for Cirie and blindsided someone else 😛 But he is truly in it for himself, and that might see him get a seat at the end. I think he could argue his game well, none of these guys saw his season, so they might not know how his brain works on the beach like we see in the confessionals.

I'd love to see Tiff win her way to the end on immunity, that would be cool! I do like Jonathan, mostly cos I like seeing a dude like him on my tv screen, but I am not sure he has the jury - he seemed to hate Christian and Rick who are going to have a big influence over there. Joe is just the average Joe and I cant see him beating anyone who is left.

Aubry will be fun, if she get through, shes sure to put up a fight. I love her voice and deadpan attitude.

That would have been a great resume-building move. In general, people are too greedy with their idols, holding onto them until it's too late, when they should use them strategically. Whenever Jeff says, "If anyone has an advantage...", the camera always swings to the idol-holders, and it makes it seem like they are so brave, staring down the risk of being voted out in order to save their idol. But it's not brave, they just never want to use them!

Heh, he's definitely the hottest man! But yeah, Jonathan has not been great with the social game. While he has gotten better at strategizing, he still has too much of the "big dumb lug throwing his weight around" reputation. Still, I don't hate the idea of him winning as I once did, so he's grown on me.

I’m rooting for Tiff or Aubry. I like both. Tiff has played a great game for her second, and with such legends. Aubry has really learned from her past mistakes and she’s back on finale night. Hoping she outmaneuvers her way to final tribal. This is definitely going to be a great finale watch!

I'm rooting for one of those, as well!
I had been thinking about Riz and the way he plays with his idol in comparison to how the aussies play. I was wondering if Riz had ever played team sports? Most of the aussies would have grown up heavily involved in team sports, perhaps not as adults, but it is engrained in the schooling even if you're not good at it. Team games and study projects are common, "taking one for the team" is well trained. Maybe reading Red Rising at the moment made me think of loyalty to team mates.

I wonder if thats what I am noticing in the difference between the games. Aussies play on teams, the hard balance for players like Kirby, who is a professional team sport player, has been choosing when to turn on your own, where as Riz plays like he's always been on his own. Its not an alliance vote for the sake of the alliance, its only for the sake of himself to get one step closer. Its a selfish game play, and it might work for him.

Fascinating insight! Sports are not mandatory in most schools in the US, and I'm betting a thin guy like Rizo would not have played a lot of team sports, at least not beyond age 10 or so, when you have to start being pretty athletic. He's definitely playing his own game. Even when he's had allies, he doesn't feel attached to them.

Finale time! Immediately love being back with a live crowd. Makes it feel bigger, better, more like an Epic Party 😛

Of course Riz puts himself first on the walk in lol totally in character.
Back on the beach - HAHA Tiff is great. No is a complete sentence. "Snake ass Aubry" does sort of suit her haha. GO hard Tiff, use this energy to win the next one! I like Aubry, dont get me wrong, but she does play a snakey game (respect). If Aubry had voted with Tiff and Cirie there could have been a different result. Joe doing the mansplain.

Ok hearing Jonathans game plan, he is underestimating Riz. Older players like Cirie, knew that Riz didnt nab a spot in 50 if he wasnt good at the game. Underdog of the century is also a great way to describe Aubry.

Aww yay Cirie, she gives me so much hope I might make it out there one day hahaha.

Challenge time - No close up on aubry or rizzo lololol
Talk more about Jonathon "destroying" it , Jeff fandom are gona love that hahaha. It is close considering that. Pushed himself too hard Jonathon, you could see that adrenaline in him hit at the locks.
Tiff is LOCKED in. Shes got that killer focus. Rizz given up lol. Only *just* got there Jonathon. I dont think he was at risk of going home, but they didnt want Tiff to get it. She nearly got there!

I forgot how Jonathon went out, I doubt Tiff will convince him, but it was a cool flashback to make it more interesting than the obvious. Yeah tribal is no surprise. Tiffs hair looks beautiful on stage. Make another season with two tribes, Tiff vs Jonathon as the leaders.

Ohhh this challenge is a tough one. Good one to vote in fans! Even-er playing field 😛 I love that they tie the hand haha. Music was cool too, hypnotic. C'mon Aubry!! Dooo it! YASS! Nice work Aubry. Way to be an underdog 😀 Oh Aubry had practiced it!

Wooo fire haha put Jonathon and Riz in it and make them sweat 😛 Haha Joe thinking it is a blessing to sit next to Aubry, she just knows she gona beat him. The fire making montage with Rizz crying and Jonathon burning it up, would be hilarious if Riz took it hahahaha. Big Brother Joe to the rescue! Well now I dont know which way this is going to go. My money was on Jonathon but we shall see...

The underdog theme is major throughout this ep, so I'm hoping that means this show is an Aubry win and not just a Riz fire win.

Riz coming on stage now, back to a normal weight. OH did Riz lose?? Final jury member? JEFF! YOU SPOILED IT! HAHAHAA! Good try to save with the "twist" bit, but there goes the suspense of it! All that build up for Jeff to wreck it hahahahahaha. Oh thats a BIG boo boo. I wonder who is gona cop the blame for that one. Would have been nice to have that suspense, a big storm has blown over as I watch this. Now we see why they needed the edit to add any sort of suspense in to it. The Jury look like they are watching a lamb to slaughter haha.

Oh the timing of this, the rain has begun with Rizs tears.

There is a family reunion! This is Oz style, having family turn up at the end. No torture challenge tho haha. Jonathon did get the looks of the family lol. So sweet Aubrys mum came along. Nice that the sop wasnt too long.

Jury time, this has felt like an epic season, actually felt a normal long length. Get the show ponies, Coach and Rick out the way first. Jonathon is arguing his case well. Even Chrissy fighting for Jonathon. Joe realising he doesnt have the jury. Aubry dropping her big move at the right time, letting Jonathon getting a run at this stage would be a mistake, Aubry is doing good to fight back, smart. Tiff fighting for Aubry, cos Chrissy has made her vote known. Stef arguing for Jonathon... Jury getting mad that shes chosen her winner obviously too. Ozzy has a smart question! Aubry and Jonathon were both adaptive. Joe was Honest until he wasnt hah. Poor Joe being embarrassed at the end again, Emily giving him some love. Passive is still a game play, Chrissy is getting too much screen time. Aubry fumbled that idol, not a great argument there. Jonathon holding on to the Ozzy vote but from the edit it did seem to be Rizz/Aubry move because they knew he had an idol and could have told him to play it. Emily is sweet with Joe, he needs it.

Christian just asking the best question, whats the story. Joe willing to be vulnerable, is a good play, he's aware. Aubry going way back, claiming the underdog position. Jonathon didnt work on his puzzles enough haha, his speaking is better than I expected though. I duno which way it will go, the brawn of the jury is with the brawn of the game, the brains are with Aubry. Joe is nowhere lol.

Did Ozzy vote Aubry? Ciries vote is excellent 😀 Saying what I couldnt put in to words about her, shes a player but never one that you could typecast or fit in a box like Jonathon is.

Now, now don't spoil it Jeff! Read the votes before you let it slip 😛
Notice none of the boy are holding Aubrys hand until she grabs them for the last vote.
Im so happy for her 😀 Good job.

Reunion, Nice speak Aubry. Jonathon still has years in him to come back, so its not all boohoo for him. He'd probably be the new Boston Rob, if he came back with a bunch of dummies, he'd be given the win. Ha he pretty much said what I typed after I did lol. Joe likes things to be black and white.

I love Aubrys glasses, I almost got some sunnies with similar frames, now I think I will order them.

Thanks for the chats 😀 I really did enjoy the season overall. Much like AU vs The World, I was upset to not see my faves go further, but it was still worth the watch for the game play right up to the end 😀 51 looks fun!

Thanks to you, too! Half the fun of watching this season was reading what you had to say and discussing!
Tiff says she will do whatever it takes to win, yet she's not eating crow and buttering the others up like you need to in order to stay in the game. She just got too emotional at the end, but it probably wouldn't have mattered, anyway. I wonder if she had gone to the end instead of Aubry, if Jonathan would have beaten her. Or who would have won between Tiff and Aubry? My money would have been on Tiff in either scenarios.

Why is Cirie being given an award? It just seems cheesy, especially as she won the Sia money at the end. I was sort of hating the live reunion at first, with all the back-patting. But eventually, it got more interesting, getting to hear from individuals about their play. I was disappointed, though, in lack of any chatter with the non-jury members. They got a round of beer, but that's it. Why have them if they're never even going to get a close-up? I'd at least like to know if Kyle and Colby healed fully.

The next-to-last challenge is yet another that favors strength, which hardly seems fair at this point. Look at Joe and Jonathan grabbing all their ladder rungs at once! Still, I was impressed that Jon pulled it out with the puzzle, when that hasn't been his strong point, though devastated that Tiff was so close.

I think Tiff made an excellent point about how Joe had won as many immunities as she did. It seems to me that women get targeted more as threats, which means they have to play a cleverer game, which then makes them targeted more. But I'm a woman, so maybe I'm biased.

Hurrah for the final ball challenge. I love that one, because it really is down to concentration and some luck. I wish they'd finish with it every time. In general, I wish they'd have more challenges after the merge that focus on things other than athleticism. Yay that Aubry won! And she reveals that the fan votes were done before the season started. Something else made me think they were playing while we were voting, but Aubry says she saw the "simmotion" vote, so knew to practice it. I love that that evens the odds against Joe and Jon's strength.

I thought Aubry should take Rizo, but she and Joe should have done all they could to help Rizo with the fire. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think he would have gotten fewer votes than Jon. And then, ha ha, Rizo's moment is spoiled by Jeff! Rizo says he was a "giant among giants"🙄. Does the Albanian community really want this narcissist representing them?

Finally, the final tribal. Ozzy's face when they are all talking about his vote-out!😐🤣 Joe wasn't putting himself out there enough to talk, and it seemed pretty clear anyway that nobody supported him. I didn't think Joe deserved to win, by any means, but I hate how humiliating it is when one finalist gets no votes. Hurrah for Aubry, my preferred winner after Cirie left. But I will say that Jonathan earned my respect ultimately; he was a much better player than he seemed at first.

Epic season, though it seemed to go so fast!

Yes she was in the rage haha, great tv, but not so great game play. Like you say, it wouldnt have mattered, those men *thought* they could beat Aubry in any challenge, Tiff was snapping at their heels every time. If it had been Tiff vs Aubry at the end, now seeing how the jury was, I think Aubry still would have won, but that doesnt mean Tiff didnt play a fantastic game.

Jeff clung to that award haha. It was too many words before he handed the damn thing over. I was waiting for the usual reunion type bit at the end but it was cut short. I did sorta zone out when they crossed back to the stage, it did take me out of the game for moments. I used Mike Whites bit for a loo break lol.

I only knew that Kyle and Cobly were ok cos I googled it immediately after they left haha. Kyle did need surgery. Colby was going to be medivaced if he wasnt voted out at that point anyway.

Finally, the final tribal. Ozzy's face when they are all talking about his vote-out!😐🤣
Ozzy was excellent at final tribal! Great question, great reactions hahah. That was one of the moves that could have influenced the final vote - but I also think the jury was pretty much decided before they got there. Ozzy still looked unwashed when Jeff presented him with the shirt.

Could have seen a lot less of Chrissy at final tribal. What was Stefanies question at the end of her Team Jonathon talk? When she said "The Total Package" it made me think of toddlers and tiaras and all those little kids being presented as the total package haha, they dont rely on their smarts, they win on their looks and charm. I am quite sure we will see Jonathon back so I am not sad for him and I think Aubry was the better winner in the end.

I just started the first ep of Below deck down under s4. I feel like they brought back these big BD names to perk it up a bit 😂 Daisy gets to snog all the hotties. Ben is always entertaining. Joal is the second in command eye candy. Looks like it might be a fun season. To be honest Im surprised they are still doing Down Under after that sexual assault stuff, and that its not actually down under at all any more lol.
