Rick has not been my favorite, but at least he was honest about idol-hunting. "Lost a contact."
😀 And I liked his speech about the stars.
Both Rick and Cirie gave gracious exit speeches. Rick even said, "Time for me to go," before Jeff could. That distinguishes them from Ozzy, who still struggled with strategy this season. He was so bitter at his leaving, like he still doesn't get how the game is played. He messed up his own game, telling Aubry his plans, but I hope he didn't mess it up for Cirie, too. I suppose she was a big enough threat to be kicked out, though, without Ozzy drawing attention to her. Still, she was my favorite, and I was sorry to see her go.
I don't know if you saw it, November, but there was another chance for fans to vote on this episode. It was which player we wanted the singer Sia to give $100,000 to. I voted for Cirie. But then, every other vote has gone the opposite of what I wanted, so I'm not holding my breath for this. I understand it's going to be a live reunion, when I voted for the winner to be announced at their last tribal. I hate all the extra stuff in live reunions, like asking audience members what they think, hearing from Boston Rob, family hugs, etc. But I guess that's what they're doing.
I wish more challenges were like the ones on this episode, emphasizing patience not strength. I was happy to see Tiff win, when everyone was conspiring against her. Aubry was a dope not to try to do her own puzzle. It might almost have been her voted out!
Now there is 4 from 40's and 2 old school.
That's a good catch! I'm guessing it's because 40s are less well-known and therefore considered less of a threat. But maybe they're also better at the cutthroat strategizing. Or maybe it's just that they're younger and stronger and winning immunities. (Though I haven't checked which group has won more this season.)
Although maybe most want to sit next to Joe at the end? I didnt consider that, I know the jury see him as a bit if a brat.
I would. Joe is a good guy, but he hasn't done much with strategy this season. It's something that he has lasted while not being in alliances. He has been in some, but they haven't been strong. And he always seems to be following the lead on votes. I don't think he'll have much of a resume' at the end. Rizo has done some, but I don't think people respect him as a newbie. So if it were I, I would want Joe and Rizo sitting next to me. I don't much care for Jonathan, but I think he has a case to win. I'm rooting for Tiff or Aubry, though.
