I'm not sure if the best sci fi film/best supporting actress thing you posted was the Saturn Awards, but if it is, then you messed it up. Star Wars won the Saturn, not Serenity.
 
Well those are nominations, not wins posted above. I must have assumed that would be obvious with the multiple entrants.

Just double-checked and yes it was the Saturn award Serenity and Summer were nominated for.

Because unaired episodes of Firefly aired for the first time in the US in 2005, it is eligible for these awards, as is Wonderfalls, and of course, Serenity.

Here's another one. Kind of dubious perhaps. It's the Spacey for favourite Science Fiction film of the year, as selected by viewers of the Canadian science fiction television station - Space.

I say dubious, because the Spacey is kind of famous for being the award James Marsters chucked in the garbage. It was retrieved, and the guy who found it tried to sell it on Ebay. 😀
