I’m thinking of trying ‘Vampire: The masquerade Bloodlines 2’ it’s a video game. I heard the original was really cool and really like the Buffyverse, have you been reading the BOOM! Series?

I agree with this so much. Actors and writers can say what they want.. it doesn’t prevent us fans to feel what we feel when watching the shows. I just think we should respect everyone ‘s opinions. But some fans, and I generalize, in every fandom and ship, there are some fans that are... well I would say « passionate in a negative way” to say in a nice way. And when you always see fan doing that : bashing a character that you love in order to glorify their own favorite and by the way don’t respect at all other’s opinions by being mean.. it’s just very tiring and it can have an effect on how you react to things. For example I like Spuffy when I watch the show, even if I still prefer Bangel, but fandom kinda tainted that love I have for Spuffy. Of course I’m sure there are nasty fans everywhere, even amongs Bangel.. I may have sometimes be rude without realizing it, and if that’s the case I apologize, I try to be a nice Bangel 😄

You sound like a lovely Bangel. I also appreciate that ship and definitely can see what ppl like about it even if I have a preference go Spuffy ☺️

Hello friends. I’m very new here and I just wanted to say HEYYYY and THANK GOD YOU’RE ALL HERE! Until lockdown, I hadn’t watched Buffy for 15 years. As a teenager I was obsessed - OBSESSED - with Bangel. I had a life-size cardboard cutout of David in my room, I was on the Posting Board (anyone else? I went to the party in 2001!)...
But then I stopped watching the show around the end of season five, I think (part of me did not recover from Angel leaving, and the introduction of Dawn really annoyed me) and I left my obsession behind me while I went off and did other things with my life. I thought I was over it, guys.
Then lockdown happened and after a few weeks I thought, ‘I know, I’ll rewatch all of Buffy and AtS from the beginning, that’ll be cute and nostalgic and kill a lot of time...’

... You guys, I am not over it. It is I believable how not over it I am. I am neck-deep in this B/A ship like it’s 1999.

Don’t get me started on Spuffy. It’s an insult to everything the writers created in Bangel and, as someone who’s been in a toxic relationship, NO THANKS HUN. I do not understand, after all those years the writers spent telling us to have faith and keep hope in a Bangel reunion, how they then introduced and tried to champion Spuffy. What. Is. Going. On.

Anyway... I am just thrilled that these boards exist and that there are still people shipping Bangel. I have found my people. HI!

I am glad to see another Bangel shipper here. I got hooked on Bangel right away. I know a good thing when I see it. My Bangel heart was broken at the end of I Will Remember You because I had so wanted them to stay together. I loved Buffy with human Angel. With Angel human and with Buffy he and she could have the life Angel wanted for Buffy; the full life he wanted for her. As far as Spuffy goes I do my best to ignore it. I don't think Angel broke up with Buffy so she could be with Spike. That is why On a re-watch I would skip Season 6 entirely. I am beginning to think that the only way we will get a Bangel reunion is through fanfic written by a Bangel with a Shanshued Angel. I doubt it will happen in the comics. Welcome to the place where Bangels hang out. 🎉😀👏🏻
