Should they have kept Cordelia?

I'm pretty sure it was Joss- and not Charisma- who decided that Cordelia be discontinued for season five.

There's another thread (can't remember the name of it), where someone posted a link to a Comic Con with Charisma Carpenter. She actually talks quite openly about what happened, saying that she was not going on maternity leave; it was Joss who decided Cordelia's fate.

I do wish that Cordelia would have made it to the end. Fred, the only other female, was killed off, as was Wesley, the longest running character beside Cordelia. Very upsetting. :cry3:

If that is the case, and Joss is the one that determined that Charisma's character be terminated, then I am very upset with the decision making on his part. It just felt so wrong. I just won't get over that whole situation...
