I like them both for different reasons.

It's really difficult for me to choose one over the other but I'll admit that I've always been a huge Angel fan more so than Spike so if I HAVE to choose I'll go with Angel.

If for no other reason than that he's tall, dark and handsome...has broad shoulders, an amazing smile...etc, etc, etc.

Moving on...I loved Spike, and I loved Angel. I loved Spike more, just because I can. If they got together, I'd be the happiest girl in the world. 😉

Well That depends on whether you believe people can love when they don't have a soul, Spike was a demon in season 6, he had a muzzle but he was still a soulless demon, Look at the dialog between him and Clem before he leaves in Seeing Red, he is conflicted, trying to understand what he was feeling. He believed while he was attempting to rape Buffy, that it was a love act, He does not understand love, until he gets a soul!

I love Spike. Less broody, more fun. Why is it the main character in each show is so annoying. both moaning and whiny. Sorry, just dont like Angel or Buffy. Actually, no. It shows that he couldn't handle seeing all the misery and pain that he caused, in his own head. If he cared then he would've tried to help other people. But, nope, it was all.about.him. His misery, his guilt, no thought of using his power to help people who needed it.

I said his plan sucked, that does not take away from all the people he killed, and out of all those peoples pain and suffering it took him months to recover, oh wow he obliviously has a really good soul..

Wow, your points suck. Your argument actually favours Spike, though you do not realise it. Spike's a pragmatist. He realises there is nothing he can do about the people he killed. What he can do is help the people who need him now. What did Angel do? Jack and shit. Hell, Angel gets an opportunity to help somebody( the flashback in the snackbar, with Faith and Angelus), and he LETS him die, so he can have a little snack, while pretending he couldn't have helped him. 100 years Angel did nothing! And that wouldn't have changed if he didn't meet Buffy. Angel is no better than Spike, your points only make them equal, but the show proves Spike is a better man.

No, wrong. Spike understood love. He had no moral compass, a soul is about knowing right from wrong. 100 years as a vampire corrupted his view of everything love is. Let us not forget he turned his mother to save her from death. Twisted as it is, its an act of love. Having a soul is immaterial.

I Prefer Angel cos He helps people no matter what and Spike although i think he is great character he is in your face alot,and has no tact. You notice the lack of tact more with Spike then you do with Angel.

When its ONLY supposition in an argument then i have continued, BUT when its proof, then i concede. Just because something seems logical in your head, does not make it proof, that just means it works for you, as with any theory with no true out come, there are many differing angles, that does not make me wrong, just means i have a different opinion based on facts at hand.

Like i say if you take that as an insult that could penetrate your heart and make you cry the bitter tears of pain and self doubt, then you need to read myother comments, as seriously, thats a funny, not an insult, you would no when i'm being insulting with a nasty streak.

To add to what botd has said i had an argument when i first met him on c.o.a and i have read his remarks that are insulting and believe you me you know if he is being rude or is being sarcastic and funny! he does put a wink if he is being funny actually as to imply what he means....I would not take it personally it is just his way.
