I'm sorry is there a more evil plan??
Frankly, yes. Destroying the world puts humanity out of their misery.
Yes, It shows he actually cared about the amount of people he had killed.
Actually, no. It shows that he couldn't handle seeing all the misery and pain that he caused, in his own head. If he cared then he would've tried to help other people. But, nope, it was all.about.him. His misery, his guilt, no thought of using his power to help people who needed it.
I said his plan sucked, that does not take away from all the people he killed, and out of all those peoples pain and suffering it took him months to recover, oh wow he obliviously has a really good soul..
Wow, your points
suck. Your argument actually favours Spike, though you do not realise it. Spike's a pragmatist. He realises there is nothing he can do about the people he killed. What he can do is help the people who need him now. What did Angel do? Jack and shit. Hell, Angel gets an opportunity to help somebody( the flashback in the snackbar, with Faith and Angelus), and he LETS him die, so he can have a little snack, while pretending he couldn't have helped him. 100 years Angel did nothing! And that wouldn't have changed if he didn't meet Buffy. Angel is no better than Spike, your points only make them equal, but the show proves Spike is a better man.
He did it as a way to feel love, because he could not feel it properly as a vampire and he was confused, he thought if he had a soul he could understand love, and that in turn would make Buffy love him, He did it for purely self motivated reasons, EARNED his soul, pfft, he was a selfish demon who did not understand love.
No, wrong. Spike understood love. He had no moral compass, a soul is about knowing right from wrong. 100 years as a vampire corrupted his view of everything love is. Let us not forget he turned his mother to save her from death. Twisted as it is, its an act of love. Having a soul is immaterial.
Oh wow, well I am so glad that all it took was buffy telling him so, to make him stop caring about all the people he had killed! and he did, with Angel we constantly see that guilt hanging over him, that's not there with spike, the only thing on Spikes mind was Buffy!
Uhm. O...k. Angel only decided to help people because of his love for Buffy. I think you're too blinded by your dislike of Spike to see the facts. Do I need to remind you of lawyers in a wine cellar??
Angel, what a hero.
Yes, what the point of this reply, It is oblivious Angel was a better good guy, as I have said above!, Still looking for that sarcasm Stick...
I broke my sarcasm stick beyond repair, beating someone over the head with it.
