1. Do you think Spike realized it was love when he woke up from that dream in "Out of My Mind", or did he realize it later down the road? And if the latter, approximately when do you think he realized it?
I don't think Spike realized it was truly love immediately when he woke up from his dream. As it was already said, I think he realized his the extent of his feelings in FFL when he stopped himself from killing Buffy and instead comforted her. I also think Spike realized how real his feelings were for Buffy after she kissed him in "Intervention."
2. Which of the triangles involving Spike/Buffy -- brief or long-lasting -- interested you the most? The least? (e.g. Riley/Buffy/Spike, Spike/Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Spike/Faith etc.)
I was actually the most interested in the Buffy/Spike/Drusilla triangle, if you really would call it that. We saw how loyal Spike was to Dru in s2 and how much it hurt him when she left him in s3. He even called their love "eternal." So, when she came back in "Crush" and wanted to be with Spike, although Spike had feelings for Buffy, I was very interested in what Spike would do. Would he go back with Dru (since he always wanted to) or did his feelings for Buffy really mean something? Of course Spike went about it in the wrong way in that episode, but what else would you expect from a soulless vampire, lol? Yet, the fact that Spike pretty much chose Buffy over Dru said a lot to me.
3. Would Dawn approve of Spike/Buffy, or would she hold a grudge about the bathroom scene?
Tough one. Dawn wasn't like Buffy (thank God), where she believed getting a soul meant it made someone a good person, or even erased the past. So, I think she would hold a grudge against Spike for a while, but I hope would eventually approve.
4. Are there any Spike/Buffy-related lines/scenes in shooting scripts that you wish had made it onscreen? (find the shooting scripts at Buffyworld)
Oh my gosh...YES! There's a ton. It's not really anything major, but I thought it was nice if they left it in
🙂 Some examples:
The shooting script for the Buffy/Spike scene in "Never Leave Me," when they are in the basement, is pretty interesting. Although I'm very happy with the final product, there's some things that intrigued me in the script. For instance, Buffy includes "Was that you who tried to rape me?" when she's questioning Spike about whether that was him in the cellar and who killed those girls. Also, I kind of like this exchange:
BUFFY
There's a man in there underneath
that monster. A man who -- even when
he had no soul --
SPIKE
-- It's window dressing --
BUFFY
-- struggled to find redemption.
You're alive because I know he's in
there --
The whole script is available here:

In Chosen:
SPIKE
I don't know what I would have done
if you'd gone up those stairs.
BUFFY
Let's not find out.
I love that little line by Buffy
😀
Another one in Chosen, which I'm actually bummed they took out. After Buffy parts ways with Xander and Willow as she walking down the hall in Sunnydale high, the script then says:
Buffy comes down the stairs and on top of the music we hear voices, remembered voices, phrases from her past -- her first meetings with her friends, key moments together, it all builds and jumbles in her head as she walks along the hall until she reaches
SPIKE
Time to go to work, love.
I just think that's an awesome way of showing how Buffy's past now connects with her present/future, which includes Spike
😉 Plus, I love that line by Spike
😀
I know there's more, but that's all I can think of now
🙂
5. Have you or are you planning on writing any Buffy/Spike meta? Self-pimp away
I haven't written any, but I am thinking of writing one
🙂

xaphania agrees: If the meta you mention here is the one we talked about once - write it, write it!
Yes, it is that one
😉
