Dam the merch is so cool for this show. Like I'm not a collector at all, but all those things are so cool I want them! I love how much of a icon Barb is.
 
Am I right in thinking I saw Sean Astin in the second trailer? That's a nice callback to the kid-centric 80s movie if ever there was one. I really liked the first season, and more so its ending, so I hope the follow-up doesn't ruin it too much.

What are Netflix doing that thing of only putting up half the season before Chrismas. Their doing that with the new Star Trek and are only putting one episode of Riverdale per week. The big teases!😛
 
Well Star Trek is on CBS access, which airs once a week. It just started recently.
As for the first watch. We'll have to figure out a time that's good for everyone. 🙂

That must be a UK thing, don't they do the same thing with Better Call Saul? It must be because no British station carries the tv shows, so the studios make a deal w/ Netflix instead. They don't do that in the US for any show; you gotta wait a month or two after the season is done before they would have it. The new Star Trek isn't even on American netflix at all.

Think so. Part of it might be down to timing. Because the new Star Trek only recently started and has 15 episodes and with Christmas coming up then that might be why their breaking it up. Because ST is a Netflix original all over I'm guessing their putting it all up at once😉
 
What? They're only releasing half of it? This is news to me.... as it's a Netflix production I'd have thought they'd do it all, like they normally do with their shows.

I could be wrong, but I think because ST is on Netflix everywhere then they should put it all up at once. I think the shows that tend to get split up are the ones that are shown on a Network in the US. But don't quote me on that😉 Now can someone in the know just tell me if ST S2 is dropping all at once or not😛

really wind me up. That's what acting is - pretending. 🙄 You can pretend to be someone's mother without actually being a mother. Why is it that women who aren't mothers get hounded about stuff like this and not men who aren't fathers? Such double standards in the industry! 😡 Anyway, I digress....

I've loved Winona since I was a kid, and my love for her will never die, whether she has kids or not. I think she was great as Joyce Byers.

I'm 99.9% certain a release date of 27th October on Netflix, for a Netflix produced show, will mean ALL episodes. Historically that's been the case and why wouldn't they want to release it all the weekend before Halloween.... #marketingdream 😉
