Tara's Death

What is your intake on Tara's death? How did you feel, angry or sad? DId you support her character getting the boot, or what?

I was upset when she died because she was my favorite character. It looked like she had been through so much in her life, I just wanted her to be happy for once lol.
 
i was sad about it i didnt care at the time but then i thought about it and i became sad because it was almost like joss killed her off just to intriduce kennedy
 
yeah, it did seem that way. and it seemed like he killed her off just so Willow could go evil for two episodes.
 
yeah i know! as good as that storyline was i dont think it was worth killing tara for
 
But, now that I think about it, could you really see a plot line for tara in season 7?
 
not really all i could see her doing is making funny shape pancakes for dawn lol
 
Or the other potentials. Like in Bring on The Night, with the british invasion. LoL. Maybe she could have been in a love triangle - Willow, Kennedy, Tara?
 
lol i would not like the love triangle! lol i think that she would have just been killed in the last episode along with anya
 
If Tara was alive, Willow wouldn't have even glanced in Kennedy's direction!

When Tara died, I was very dissappointed, because she was my absolute favorite character at the time. But I thought the payoff was great-Willow going evil and them redeeming herself. I thought that if they needed to kill Tara off to make that happen, then it was a great choice for the writers. I'm VERY glad that they didn't do it earlier like I'd heard they were going to!
 
yeah they were gonna do it in 5th season but joss granted us another year with our dear tara probably so their relationship could develop
 
Tara's death was awful!

I was stunned when it happened. Just because I was so happy when they had just gotten back together and were finally getting out of bed and wham! very sad.

I do think that it was a great way to bring about Dark Willow. The way she responded to Tara's death was so heartfelt, and shocking. And it still was when she had to face it again in CWDP and The killer in me.
 
I guess there are always to views - like or dislike. I kinda feel both about it, but my opinion leans torward not liking it.
 
I was so upset. Tara was like my favorite character. Instead of killing her off I think they should of like put her in a coma or something I know we've already been there or something bad like that but not kill her. I think it went to far.

If there happens to be some kind of a spinoff i'm really hoping that they will bring her back some way.
 
I always heard they would do a Tara/Willow spin off, but I think it was just rumored.
 
Me too. I think a good spin off would be a witch type show like Willow, Tara, and.... AMy? If she wasn't evil. But then again it would be to much like Charmed... hm... :😛onders::
 
Tara was a favourite of mine, it was such a shame she died. I take solice (sp?) in the fact her last words were about Willow, showing her love for her.

This is largely the way I felt about it. I was very upset that Tara died but the payoff of Dark Willow was pretty awesome. I'm still not totally convinced it had to happen that way but hey, it's not my show so I don't get to make the decisions. Tara's death scene was also really well done, very powerful.
 
Yeah, Tara's death was the most awful event i think, coz it came out of the blue, & was so quick, but the Willow's reaction to Tara's death made it worst coz we were just so soz for her.
Of course, it was necessary to kill Tara to get Veiny Will, but it was the worst thing ever !!!
 
Tara's death was Horrible!!!!It was so shocking. I definately was expecting it so it made it even harder. Tara was one of the best characters on the show and killing her was terrible. Yes for Willow to go bad and almost destroy the world she needed some motive,and killing tara was the only way, but still it was so sad!
