The hate on buffy is unbearable

And the fact that people are still talking about it after 20 years should mean something. But you cant please all people & you shouldn't try. If you like then that good enough. I never read the comments on You Tube because I there to watch something period .

I showed Buffy season 1 to my friend (who is the same age as me) and she complained about how old, boring and not scary it was but she only watched about 3 episodes so she didn't give it a real chance. It's so annoying 😀

It's because she's normally watching shows with amazing graphics and everything but I did explain that it was from 1997 lol. Good graphics don't make a good show after all 🙂
 
You got that right . If the show doesn't have a good story behind it then it not worth watching no matter how amazing the graphics are i think.
 
I hate when supernatural fans hate on Buffy because the show exist because of shows like Buffy. I myself love Supernatural and understand that some people might relate to it more than Buffy but you can't deny that one inspired the other. Before shows like Buffy, Xfiles or Twilight zone there wasn't any horror/fantasy shows on TV. They changed television and made it possible for us to enjoy theses genres today.
 
I would say Buffy & X-Files more myself since the Twilight Zone since it was always a different show every time . Those two showed you could run a series that was based on that.

I'm glad to see that there's some love for The Puppet Show out there. It's one of my favorite episodes of season 1, along with Prophecy Girl. I think it's so well done and has some of the most horror elements in the entire show. When Buffy's walking around, looking for clues to the mystery, it's so incredibly suspenseful. Plus, the plot with Giles having to run the "talentless" show is hilarious, and it's good to hear some more out of Snyder. All in all, a memorable episode, especially for season 1!
 
I do agree that it sucks how much hate Buffy gets, especially because of how much I hear about how it’s dumb and silly and a lot of other worse things just because they hear the name of the show and assume. High schoolers aren’t exactly open to jump in on something because they are so quick to judge. My friends who I have actually convinced to watch have loved it. But that’s one of the great things about being here😀. Everyone knows what so much of the world is missing.
