The maddest you've ever been at Joss Whedon

- Killing Doyle
- Keeping Dawn alive...or casting Michelle Tratchenberg (take your pick)
- Taking Charisma Carpenter out of season 5
- Having those dumbass potentials in season 7
- Kennedy

There are a few things which convince me that Joss has a pair of crazy jeans in his closet.

Twilight
Xander should have had more chances to shine Ala "The Zeppo"; not be funny Syphilis having Drac man servant.
Jesse
Seeing Red
Xander cheating on Cordy
Xander leaving Anya
Angel season four; the last half mostly.

Although I love Spuffy, it; and the seasons in which it occurred were handled horribly. Willow's magic "addiction" is possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen in fiction.

And finally; the two things which make me absolutely furious.

1 & 2: Spike and Faith never got their own spinoffs.

I've never really been that judgemental about it, but two significant events in Serenity (those who have watched it will hopefully know what I'm referring to) annoyed me a lot.

D
Deus Ex Machina
I think I know what you're talking about, and Huzzah! Hateforthosescenes karma.
I actually really like and admire Joss's unpredictability, however, there have been a few moments where I've really, REALLY been upset, most notably the way he ruined Cordelia's character, and the whole Connor/Cordelia thing in general.

Cordelia was one of my favourite characters; to see her growth from vapid, shallow bitch (I liked her like that too, don't get me wrong!) to absolutely decent human being was so epic, and to have that just ripped up really disappointed me.

Tara's death in Seeing Red doesn't actually make me all that mad -- of course I wish she could've stayed, but her death being the catalyst to DarkWillow's rampage, plus all the angst it brought, I thought it was good for the series as a whole. Maybe I'm a masochist, lol!

However, one thing that does make me mad at Joss is in that ep when Spike attempts to rape Buffy. I know he doesn't have a soul, and it was also an important catalyst in Spike seeking redemption, and his soul, but it was so painful to watch :/
