Tom Lenk suggested a Troika spin off featuring a Zombie Jonathan and a robot version of Warren....

....well I'd watch it anyway....

Apparently we won't be getting one for a while (which sucks). If I had my choice of the ideas that were being thrown around though I'd have gone with the Faith one.

The SiT academy with Willow and Kennedy as teacher-types just seemed a little cheesy. I think Joss actually said it wasn't a very good premise (pretty sure I read that somewhere, though I could be wrong, I'm not that old, but even still the memory is starting to go), and I would tend to agree.

The Faith spinoff was, from what I've heard, supposed to be Faith (probably on a mototcycle) on the run from the law wandering from place to place helping people, fighting demons, and looking for redemption. ANYTHING that involves Faith and a motorcycle has merit (after all, if Faith's on a bike, she's gotta be in her good old leather pants.... and that is good).

If I could construct my own though, I'd probably throw in Faith, Giles, Anya, Xander, Willow, and Wes. I have no idea what they'd all be doing together but I just really like the characters. Probably, with a couple former watchers and a Slayer in the group, you could make a 'rebuilding the Watcher's Council' story out of it. Xander has a lot of demon hunting field time under his belt and could certainly help with training and moral (the guy is comic relief made flesh). Anya could be their resisdent demon expert. Giles could lead the new council, while Wes makes the tactical decisions. Willow would be magical expert and essentially be 'mystic artillery' in the big fights. Faith of course would be the Slayer (hopefully in leather pants).

Nicholas Bredon(Xander) is apparently signed on to do a sitcom on FOX this September, so I guess he won't be in a spin-off. Too bad cause I would really like a show with Xander taking place a few years after Buffy ends(he's 31 in real life, I think he can play an older role) as a watcher with a new slayer.

There's also supposed to be a spin-off in England starring Giles. It's called Ripper, the name he had when he was a teenager, so I don't think it will be about him rebuilding the watcher's council. Probably have a lot of magic and hopefully Ethan Raine.

A spin-off with Spike or Willow would be great! Eliza has already said she won't do a Faith spin-off, as has Emma(Anya). I don't really like the idea of a Dawn spin-off. I like her as a character, but don'' see how she could support her own show. I'd like her to go on to another spin-off though. And Andrew too! I hate the idea of a show with all the potentials, they annoy the hell out of me as it is.

If Angel does go on, maybe a few of the characters can go on.

spike is moving to ANgel.

when is Ripper going to come out?
when will it come out in the US?

....which sucks.

I don't think their doing a ripper tv show. Joss said something about a television movie thing. They're not 100% sure though.

I was really hoping for a Faith spinoff. Shame that's very unlikely to happen.

First i heard that Dawn was going to be the next slayer, then I heard that Holly Valance was in the running for the role of the next slayer... who knows man, its all over the place. Is there even going to be a spinoff?

Yeah i would love to see a Willow spin-off or a spike spin-off. Either would be great!!

If an actual spinoff isn't alrready seriously in the works I doubt we'll be seeing anything this fall. It wouldn't be out of the question for Buffy characters to show up in L.A. So, I've a feeling that we'll be seeing a healthy trickle of guests on Angel.

I like the idea of rebuilding the watchers council Good idea!! I also like to see Spike and Andrew together they make me laugh, they have a good vibe going on!

At one point, the BBC was supposed to do a seperate Giles spin-off series, but I believe that one bit the dust...

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see an Oz spin-off. Hear me out, first off I'm biased because I'm a big werewolf fan. But while the Oz character himself is best played off of other, more in-depth characters, they could have him travelling from place to place (a la the old Incredible Hulk show, or even the Werewolf show from the '80s 😀) and Seth Green can bring the Oz-brand of quiet cool to a different cast each episode or two.

I'd watch it.

The Watchers Diaries (minor 7.22 spoiler)

Read this idea in the bronze before it's demise.

It would each week focus on a different Slayer through time. Maybe ones that exist and maybe ones that don't.

It was originally to be set entirely in the past but after "Chosen" we have a whole new world to draw on.

Also how about a spin-off with a Faith/Spike/Wood/new character and/...Kennedy.

Now i know there is a lot of bad feelings about Kennedy but her and Faith could be interesting. Faith was bad because she abuesed her power, Kennedy loves the power. Faith could try and warn Kennedy off and the new character could be another Slayer but the anti-Kennedy.

I like the different Slayers across time idea, that would rock as a comic book.

I don't know if I could watch a show starring Willow. I guess I would, if the creative teams were Buffy-caliber (not just any hacks thrown together to write the spin-off... as often happens). Also, I'd like to see her use of magic really be a focus, show her as a developing wicca. That would rock.

I think Oz should get his own show. I mentioned that earlier. But I just felt like saying again. 😀

P.S. Read my Oz fan fiction! (Thumbs up, cheap pop!)

Darodevil, lol, there is a comic book about Slayer's through time. I have got it, it's called 'Tales of the Slayer' and each little story about each different Slayer is by a different artists. The First Slayer art is very cool.

There are also two books, called 'Tales of the Slayers' volumes 1 & 2 out now too, each with loads of stories from a chapter through a different Slayer's life. You should chek 'em out.

Don't you think it would be cool though if you had a story about say, Spike and see how his plans affected a number of Slayers over time rather than in a 2 minute flashback.

A willow and Xander spin off would be cool

Double Post (next time use the edit button!):

Or a spin off where willow goes to the heavens to meet other goddesses

You know what would be cool? An unexpected spin-off.

Cause everyone can definately see a Spike or Willow or Faith spin-off working.

But what about a Xander spin-off? The normal guy that helped saved the world. I can definately see him running a slayer school and helping people find their strength. Maybe having Dawn go along with him for the ride with a little Andrew in there too (hey, if Angel can start off (well except for Doyle...*sobs* I miss thee Doyle!) with having all old characters so can the Xander spin-off).

I think it would be cool have a spin-off with the "normal people" of the group.

I'd like to see a Spike spin off (launched from Angel obviously) But with a female co-lead with as much power as he has. I'd love to see either Xander or Willow (please no Kennedy) or maybe Faith and Wood. It would make Wood's addition in season 7 more explainable if he and Spike were in a spin off together (if they could keep from killing each other that is) Alas my secret hope is to have Xander as Spike's luuurve interest. I know, reaching, but I can dream.
Heh if Willow was in a spin off then Amy could come back as her arch nemesis! That would rock! Ooo oo, and can I say that I always thought a cross over with Charmed would be cool? Can they even do that? If they are both on the WB?

Four magic words for the greatest buffy spinoff:

ANDREW: THE DEMON SUMMONER

Viewers will tune in every tuesday night to watch Andrew face the forces of evil in search of the lost episode of "Dr.Who". Along with his group of scoobies, Clem and Harmony. And of course the big bad will be Bill Gates.

Nah, just goofing around, I'm not really sure what kind of spinoff they can do now with all the cast wanting to do other things. The only one who said that she would like to come back to the character is Allyson Hannigan. So a Willow spin off would be cool, it would also be great for the Mutant Enemy series trilogy, you have a Vampire Slayer, a Vampire, and then you have the series about the lesbian wiccan. Of course, the supporting cast would be Kennedy, Andrew (he needs to be in a spin off of some sort) and Principal Wood.

Another option would be Giles, Joss Whedon has been wanting to do a Giles spin off for the BBC, maybe he could somehow make that into his spinoff.
