More of a hot bath kind of gal. Just saying 😳
I dont have a bath 😭 was wondering if those blow up ones are any good. Would be nice to have one under the stars... But I also need something like that to wash the dogs in, so maybe a pool is just a better option.

I have both (shower attachment was added later)
get one of those big metal troughs.
Thats what Im thinkin'. I could probably pick up an actual old bath somewhere and set it in the garden, but they are in high demand as horse troughs lol. An inflatable one would be easier to move around.

I keep daydreaming about a lap pool behind the shed... If i cover it with shade cloth, the shire wont be able to see it from their spy drones and I wont have to get building permission 🤣

Imagine you’re just driving out on the road and see Octavia scrub a dubbing in some old trough on her front lawn.

Can we interest you in other hillbilly paraphernalia? A broken toilet in the front yard, perhaps?

When I do have a bath, I shower first. I hate soaking in a tub when my body isn't clean.
Yeah when ya think about it, a hot bath is really just people soup.

I live by a highway. The truckers would just LOVE this view 🤣 I should charge a fee (sw)

Those wooden ones cost a mint though!

Waiting for someone to cash in to the *sensory* issue market with suncreams and insect repellant. I'm just over summer already having to cover myself in chemicals just to go outside. The suncream is way worse for me than the insect repellant. I get acne every where I put it on. I havent found a single brand in 30 years that doesnt cause me to break out! I hate the feeling of on my skin and the smell ugh.

I was planning on going to stitch and bitch, but if I cant even stand the smell of me, how can I expect anyone else to? Yuck

Anyanka Bunny Slayer Have you tried a heating pad or a warm bath? Motrin also helps.
I have not. I do have a heating pad, just need to find it. I'll see about running to the store later and getting some Motrin and see if that'll help. I've been hurting for 2 weeks now 😫

My heart melted. I thought Harmony the puppy was nuzzling into my jumper all cute and cuddly. Turns out she was just trying to chew a button off it.

Feel well soon @btvsfanatic ! Sore backs are very annoying.

I checked, I have 3 buttons. Harmony has none buttons.

Tis funny, both puppy dogs were ready for bed about an hour earlier than usual. All that running in the rain took its toll! We better not wake up an hour earlier too!

I just read an article that servos (petrol/gas stations) are going to become places to "hang out" while electric cars are charging. That sounds like my idea of social hell!!! Can they not be charged at home? Or like, at least near something more worth while than cafes?

I dont think I like the idea of electric cars anymore. I just thought they could be charged at home. Having to wait around for something to charge that isnt already a grocery store has no use to me. If I'm doing a city run, I want to be in and out as fast as possible! Not sticking around some stinky servo waiting to catch the next plague.

I think it depends on where you live, if you have your own parking space next to your house you can charge at home, but if you would have to run a cable across pavements or a road you have to charge it elsewhere.

It would be fine if they could be charged in the car park by the shopping complex, but to have to hang around for ages in a service station cafe thats just so far away from anything is just adding costs I'd rather spend on petrol to get out of there lol.

Are charging times always going to be so long? After my mower debacle, I wonder if we will see more cars burnt out on the side of the highway in summer... Hopefully the technology will evolve by the time I'm forced into one. Mind you, maybe by then they will have taken my license off me!

We have charging points in various car parks here, but I guess service stations work for long journeys, as a refill midway type of thing. It'll probably expand as time goes on, and take up becomes faster

I see a lot of electric cars here, mainly Tesla but if you can afford a Tesla, you probably live in a house. If you live in a house, you can add a charging station, although you may need to upgrade your wiring for a few thousand bucks. If you live in an apartment or condo, you are totally out of luck. I predict a lot of people will be hanging on to their internal combustion cars for a long time to come. Once they are no longer made, their value will skyrocket.
