I was naughty again ! 🙂 eBay were doing another 20% off sale . So I bought more tat for the blu ray player to save on winter electric .I got ....

Dollhouse complete DVD (8 discs)
Grimm season 4 blu ray (5 discs)
Babylon 5 S3-4 DVD(12 discs)
The Strain S1 DVD(4 discs)

£17.58 all in 😎. Waited a long time for season 4 of Grimm on blu ray . Season 5 is a real rarity ,it's cheaper to buy the complete box set 😀 . Shame 5-6 suck so hard , because there's little incentive to complete the set .

I've heard that physical media is a good investment ;)
Truth.

Yes, the only way I would even consider being in a relationship again, is if he was a very rich man. Then I could just go out to my horses while he deals with it 😜

I wonder about the benefits of Blu-Ray over normal DVD's, if the television will only show a low rate of picture quality it makes no difference if the Blu-Ray can produce 1080. What if a DVD projector will show a half dome or a full dome? If the Blu-Ray disc does not produce that effect you will not see it.
If the DVD player will only produce sound to a lower effect who cares what the disc can do so why bother paying extra for the disc that is Blu-Ray?

Re: Physical media; Yeah, it really depends on the size of the TV you are watching on. Anything I buy in physical media has to be really special to do so, so I go with Blu-ray, if available.

Having a rich boyfriend/husband would be fun. He doesn't even have to be the faithful type, because I'm certainly not.

Just give me the credit cards. 🥳

100% no sex before the entirely paid off house with the horses for me ha. Never trust them when they  say they have money and it turns out to be a loan they cant pay back and now want to live rent free. Heck I'd even cook and clean for a man if it meant I could have horses again. They can buy this cow but they're not getting the milk for free!

Do you need a parachute, or a rope for that rabbit hole?

I was just outside shaking a floor rug out. The stars are spectacular! Like little glitter stickers. Its hard to believe a sky so beautiful is real. Its also super windy, but clear so the stars feel strangely stable and solid while everything blows around wildly down here. Its cool.

Blu-ray is old news in this world of fibre broadband and 4K+ video . But if you've got slow internet it's still the nicest picture you're gonna get on the cheap . DVDs can upscale to 1080 perfectly well too . Secondhand , blu ray is barely any more expensive either . I've had some right bargains over the years . I prefer blu-ray as a format but I have no real problems with DVD or SD streaming either .

I'd insist on separate bedrooms, but then I've always been like that. No matter HOW much I may like someone, I do NOT want them next to me all night.

Oh yeah for sure! Hate sharing a bed
Speaking of Japanese, where did this come from? "I jump lightly and dance in the sky."

Not being emotionally invested in Twitter, I am so enjoying articles about its implosion. Elon Musk treats employees like dirt, then is surprised that they are fleeing by the hundreds. Who knew highly-skilled tech workers would have other options than to submit to loyalty pledges, no work-from-home, long hours - and probably soon, slave collars and Nazi salutes?

All this, and now new revelations about poor treatment at Space-X and Tesla. I wonder if Musk (how aptly named!) will ever go anywhere again without the Darth Vader March playing as accompaniment. I need more popcorn! (Apologies if anyone here works for Twitter.)

In all fairness to how Elon Musk treats people I would not react to him any better, the useless waste of space should not be allowed to be part of society.
I'm loving the tweeter space right now. My timeline is much better just cos a bunch left for another site. Then today I logged on and the other site is down and they are all back on tweeter crying about it. 🤣 I dont know much about musk besides him wanting everyone to have more babies to work in his companies.

I was enjoying wearing a dress again. Until the mozzie bites started to itch. Grr summer sucks

Watching the tweeter is interesting, people seem to be moving from mass social media to smaller social media groups and moderated aps... Does this mean forums will be "in" again soon? Lol

Twitter may be getting all the news, but Facebook / Meta is quietly imploding as well. Maybe there is hope for the future after all.
