Thoughts on Emma Watson's Vanity Fair photo?

Emma Waston obviously has a very good publicist. She is trying to promote a film, and this 'backlash' can only be publicity gold.

As for her bearing her breasts, feminism is about giving women choices and if this is what she chooses to do, good for her. Really there are so many more important things happening in the world then Emma Watsons breasts 😀😱😀😀 (oh dear making myself laugh there)

Personally I'm more upset by the collar/choker thing, but maybe that's just me not getting fashion. I do however like the term "peek-a-boob"

I don't see the big deal. She's an adult, doing a photoshoot she chose to do and posing in a way she is clearly comfortable with. I'd prefer to see Dan Stevens personally..... 😉

Breasts are not the enemy. You can be a feminist and choose to bare them if you so wish. And to be honest, she's hardly baring anything at all.
 
This again 🙄 Isn't this what celebs do? Wear revealing dresses and pose half naked in magazines? That's such a common thing that I can't believe people are still talking about it. This whole cycle - of an actress posing half naked, people talking about it, the magazine selling more, the actress getting more famous, lather, rinse, repeat - is so IDIOTIC.

If people are so bored, I have an advice: buy Netflix, adopt a puppy, watch BtVS and AtS, or The Real Housewives of wtv, join a cult, etc...just please, can we not do this BS anymore? Just gouge my eyes out! *Please don't, I need them!*

Also, if you want to talk about something, who decided to style Emma's hair like that? She looks like Tilda Swinton...
 
Its good to know that the people on here are open minded. 🙂 Some of the comments I've seen related to the image have been horrible.
 
My thoughts are I have no thoughts. From the sounds of it, I thought she'd done something shocking, lol. I don't see why people are getting wound up about it, it looks like any other fashion photo.
 
Now that I've actually had a look at the links in the original post I'd just like to point out the Julia Hartley-Brewer is absolutely vile. Best to ignore her as best you can.
 
I think her eyes are the sexiest thing about that pic... but yeah, the rest is nice too.

Remember, wearing clothes is what got Adam and Eve kicked out of the Garden of Eden.

This actually appears to be a former child star trying to look like an adult so she can progress to adult parts, which is exactly what I would expect her to do. Staying in the news is what gets you the next gig.

I agree. But the articles and tweets would lead you to believe you got some nipple action. Or at least something more...there are plenty of red carpet dresses with plunging necklines that show the same amount of cleavage and they aren't described as "showing tits"
