Today's Laugh

A recent posting on this board about Disney and Firefly reminded me of this...

For those who don't know, the redhead is Mara Jade. That's all I'll say on it so that I don't go on full rant mode against Darth Disney (and what they canceled, how they proved themselves liars or incompetent, and how they deliberately gaslit the hardcore fans--those into "Legends," formerly Expanded Universe--over it for woke points). When Darth Disney first bought them out, I got excited, figuring they'd include that character,o and that she'd be played by Scarlett Johansson (on Disney's payroll at the time, or was by the time the new trilogy was released) since she'd be perfect, both in appearance and with the Black Widow vibe.

I will add that it occurs to me there may be some subtle erotic humor (where to put the vibrating weapon). Mistaken or not, I'd have never caught (or thought of) it had years on BB not warped my mind!

(I'll spare you the wild stunt I could imagine Mara pulling off back when Emperor Palpatine had a permanent telepathic link with her---completely under his control, and Mara felt herself die when the Emperor did, traumatizing her a bit, as it was painful on her, not just merely "watching"--but it's not "family friendly" and would be lost on the majority who never even heard of her, let alone her backstory).

Look at it this way:

She technically never died to Darth Caedus because that book isn’t canon now 🙂 so now she will live on forever! 😀

For those who have seen The Office Us

This is gold "You're just not good, you're just not good"

I'm not sure how these weird delusions have become surprisingly common. That response was far from exhaustive, but I'd like to add Night of the Comet (a fave of mine, and the cheerleader is said to have inspired Joss to envision Buffy, also a movie)
Microsoft vs the Borg:

Unfortunate, the originals have been terminated (using actual ST:NG footage, and excellent voice overs). I think that's why they had to go with this strange animation style with warbling voices, to avoid further AI detection and deletion of this very old parody. Given all the ST:NG scenes that stay online, I think it's Microsoft trying to get rid of it!

I should mention, I think the original idea was from the MAD parody of Independence Day. Instead of uploading a virus to the alien fleet, they uploaded Windows. Gods, that was awesome. I wasn't the only one to be crying from laughing so hard, and likely inspired the later Borg vs Windows (but I'm not certain).

Not sure why this made me laugh so hard...though just one reason I hope reincarnation isn't true.

I hope the US doesnt infect the AU brand too much. I like the man meat and innuendo. Muuuuch better than entire conversations about the word "guys" being bad and naughty and offensive.

humans are not good people
- sad but mostly true

He could've been even more criticizing (though then he'd have to explain), and then side topics. Our phones and such we complain about the "terrible" life of celebrities (and Tesla cars) are only possible of vilest slavery worse than Ken's Hell.
On my last one I was thinking any of us could be one of the three on any given day, but this one (15 seconds) might be an actual inclination....I know who I'd want to get with if I was hungry, and which one if some baddie were after me (as long as I'm not used as a warm up).

I think we can all be certain which kind Buffy is. 😀

Looks like someone is taking his revenge for how he was likely treated as a student (not that I'd want such actual behavior allowed, but it cracked me up as a skit):
