Saw this the other day, made me think someone should have tried this one in Sunnydale....... Could see Harmony trying it?

Doorbell rings.
"Hello! Do you have a minute to talk about Dracula?"
"No not now.....Wait, Dracula?"
"Yes, that's right."
"You're Vampires?"
"Yes. We have pamphlets if you'd care to take a moment to read them."
"Let me get this straight, Vampires have Missionaries?"
"Why yes, where do you think new Vampires come from?"
"I, um, kinda assumed you bite people?"
"Alas there are many hateful stereotypes levelled at my kind.....may I come in?"

I was trying to find a "love triangle burdened by violent jealousy" (for the "favorite ships" thread going on now, which allows for fantasy crack ships) that was essentially Bangel + Blade (about to strike Angel) and/or Spuffy + Blade (about to strike Spike).

No luck, yet. (Most is just Blade or Buffy about to slay Edward in Twilight.)

But these 2 made me laugh....it helps if you've seen Mean Girls for the first one, and X-Men: First Class for the second.

SHUDDERS...I just had a scary thought of the success of Stranger Things inspiring the creation of Sunnydale: the Tween Years. Well, maybe it wouldn't fill me dread if it the main cast was kept as background characters (and would be cool to finally get to know Jesse).
 
I think many who play role playing games can relate to the true cosmic horror being the ever unsatisfied maw of naked consumerism getting in the way of a good story (though I expect too many never heard of the real life Emperor Norton who seemed to have some preternatural ability to get others to cater to his madness).

There are a lot of things in life, including airports, that the less you know, the more confident you can feel about them.

I expect what the author would say about planned obsolescence (so much worse and commonplace today than when he made this strip) is unprintable here (I'd be surprised if he had a smart phone). 😛
