Top 10 reasons I hate Kennedy

Well one thing with Buffy she cared more about everyone than herself..a lot of people say she was pretty rude about chloe's death..but any loyal fan could see it deeply upset her that someone had died while in HER care..2nd Kennedy had no right to speak to anyone that ..way..

Yes she didn't hang chloe..but she did play a part..I agree with everyone
I don't understand how a lot of the people blame buffy for practically everything..but yet they claim to love the show..I'm not saying you have to agree with the main character all the time..you don't..

just seems like everyone is just quick to blame her. These girls were undisplined and needed to be trained yet..they complained about EVERYTHING..and not once offered a solution..or asked to help buffy with an plan..nothing..and if I were Buffy I would have asked kennedy to leave if she wasn't going to contribute anything

yes i like what you wrote
well basicaly im saying....kennady is not willows type....and kenady thinks too much of herself....( tara rules)
liking the show buffy the vampire slayer doesnt mean you like the main chariture you may have an interest in other charitures, eg. willow and taras story line?
dont get me wrong i like buffy, but some times shes just too....moany....dont want to sleep with spike....oh but have and still do.....

I think Buffy was completely right in how she talked to the potentials, she was carrying them and she could not carry them any longer.
Also I think everyone is being too hard on all the potentials, they have just found out they could one day become a super hero, and with your cool superpowers comes a short life and a lineage of death, and these potentials have it even worse, they don't have the superpowers yet they have to act as if they were the slayer, and considering how slayers die after only a few years , and they have strength, how long would the potentials have lasted. I think they had every right to moan and complain! Also they may have complained and never offered up a new solution, but think about it how many of us have moaned about going to school, but never done anything about it, because we can't we have no choice and neither did they.
Kennedy's confidence was one thing I like about her, she was ready to have this put upon her, a watcher telling her someday she would be fighting the forces of darkness, making the choices that would effect her, because she would be the chosen one, but now someone else has taken over her destiny and is calling the shot in her life.

i belive buffy had the right to talk to the potentioals the wat she did, they needed the cold hard truth, they were going to die? everyone does...but its up to them how they chose too...fighting or backing down....if no one stoped the first they would die anyway potentials or not. kennady had good confidence i think she knew her fate...but she didnt ralise the other girls werent...they needed molding...true....and kennady helped them...( training in garden) but kicking out buffy? i think that was her pesonal pride.

Kennedy did not kick Buffy out, everyone did, it was a group decision. Dawn was the one who really kicked her out!

Here's the issue:

My point was the people believe that no matter what Buffy does, she's right to do it. Hit Faith? It's okay, Faith is bad. Treat Spike like utter shit in S6? It's okay, Spike is a monster. Treat the Potientials like tools? It's okay, they're sniveling little brats who are only afraid for their friggin' lives.

Think about it this way: I'm not trying to hate on Buffy, I'm trying to humanize her. Nobody on the PLANET makes the right decisions for everyone all the time, especially when they're put in a position like Buffy's. So Buffy messed up. It doesn't hurt anyone to deal with this concept - if anything, it should make Buffy more real to her fans.

Understand what I'm saying?

i understand your POV, and in my case, i've never said once that Buffy was perfect, just the one particular case of her treatment of the Potentials in that situation i thought WAS the right course of action

Noone here is suggesting that Buffy was infallible. She did make plenty of mistakes during the course of the series, and you're right, it does make her more human/believable/real. I just don't think she made a mistake in trying to teach the Potentials to fight, to have dicipline, to face the situation. Could she have given them more time to adjust? Could she have better explained what she was doing? Well, she didn't know how much time they had available before The First would inact it's grand plan. So as far as she was concerned, the sooner they were ready, the better. Coddling them would have detracted from the discipline she was trying to instill in them. And how many times did she say, "You wanna live? This is how we do it." Or words to that effect. To which their reaction was "You're not the boss of me!" Or words to that effect. Buffy did a lot better than I would have in that situation. I would have said, "Bugger this for a joke, let the stupid tarts rot! I'm goin' to Vegas!".... Or words to that effect...

i love kennedy, she's my favourite potential.i think willow always had good taste for girls.i was a fan of hte couple willow+tara but i don't hate kennedy at all.she's a great character!ok she's a brat but she's not another buffy's dog!she's self assured and she know what she want!she made willow happy again, which i wasn't sure it can happen after tara's death.and i have to say that she's sexy!

thanks for agreeing marster k come on willow was still grieving and she had this chick bugging her. i would have rather seen willow/oz then willow/kennedy anyday. Kennedy in my opinion should have been taught a lesson in life (or better of hellmouth life) by buffy and u know she could have been more supportive to willow and talked about tara or helping her grieve than start groping her.

yes !!!! to bloody forward, come on she nearly destroyred the world for tara , love like that doesnt go poof...just like that, back off bitch !!!! ( kennady)
