4) Robin/Faith (too sudden - perhaps if Faith showed up earlier and their relationship developed throughout the season)
Faith/Wood (there's a WHY inside me screming to get out about this pairing...)
I hate this pairing more than is probably rational, but I don't care. I just hate it. Faith is an incredible character who has come so far, and Robin is an annoying character who was just created to cause more drama for Spike's character (which was not at all necessary) with the whole Nikki Wood thing, and then the whole going on a date with Buffy thing. It was just so last minute and ridiculous.5) Faith/Wood: It always seems like lazy thinking 'lets wrap these two charactrers arcs up'. The problem is that Faith's arc was so much more than that and Wood- didn't have an arc. And was kind of an asshat. Yeah, this one bugs me.
@gite63
I'll take your 4 and add one more.
Cordelia/Connor
Cordelia/Groo
Gunn/Fred
Buffy/Angel
Xander/Willow
No, Xander and Will were friends. I could never see them as lovers. I hate it when writers can't see that some relationships are perfect the way they are, they don't have to add romance.Ah, no, Xander and Will had its charm...
Cordy and Connor, ew.
Cordy and Groo-Angel-clone had no spark; I like The Groosaloogg in Pylea, with long hair and attitude, or in the comics with the dragon (I love dragons), short hair Groo trying to mate with Cordy, no - and Cordy shouldn't have looked for any prophylactic whatever to mate with him while Angel was pining for her... "Kyerumption", you know...
Gunn and Fred together became something very boring and diabetic sweet sometimes.
Buffy and Angel... no, no, let's leave at that.
Really agree with most of these. So we are talking actual couples or relationships in general? So hard to put categories on this stuff. Mine have no particular order.
Faith/Wood - Wahuh?
Willow/Tara and Willow/Kennedy - first one is unhealthy and after Tara's death the last thing she needed was a romantic interest so soon who bulldozered all over her while she was weak
Cordy/Angel - not a couple but why can't men and women just be friends for once, geez. It made no sense for the characters they were. At least this one was only hinted at unlike
Buffy/Spike - YUCK!!! with ICK!!! on top of it. So many problems in this non-couple (ignoring the comics) I wouldn't know where to start.
Xander/Anya - My main problem is with Anya as a character and then how much sense it didn't make for Xander to be dating her.
Crap that's already 5. I wanted to list pretty much each one that ever existed in one form or another. Also I've never understood the hots people have for vampire/human couplings. What's so hot and romantic about shagging a corpse? Can you say 'eww'.
