Top 5 least favorite ships

How could I forget Angel/Cordy? HAHA
I'm so used to ignore this ship.... It should rank as 2nd, at least.

5) Faith/Wood: It always seems like lazy thinking 'lets wrap these two charactrers arcs up'. The problem is that Faith's arc was so much more than that and Wood- didn't have an arc. And was kind of an asshat. Yeah, this one bugs me.
4) Willow/Kennedy: I just don't like Kennedy. Most of the things she says to Willow seem like they deserve a slap imo. 'Oh, magic is crap!', 'Just do a spell already no-one cares about you going all dark!', 'You can't die... because then I would be sad!'. The way not to do a new love interest on the last season of a show.
3) Xander/Anya: Xander's character suffers because of this- mostly in S6 and 7. I found that Anya took on some of his role and diminshed his presence with her enar-constant prattling and non-development.
2) Cangel: The execution more than the idea. It really did come out of nowhere in its friends/confidentes to love interest thing. They had a great dynamic and along the way they lost that for good. 'You're Welcome' was a nice send-off though.
1) Spuffy In all its incarnations; the creepy, mutual abuse of S6, the sad, damaging codependence of S7, the sleep-inducing turn in the comics from stalking to enabling to saying moronic things. One of the worst romantic ships in all fiction because its so dull and is now damaging to both characters.

Others (not listed) would be Fresley, Bangel post-S4 and Angel/Nina. (Angel belongs with Gwen in S5- its so meant-to-be)

4) Robin/Faith (too sudden - perhaps if Faith showed up earlier and their relationship developed throughout the season)

Faith/Wood (there's a WHY inside me screming to get out about this pairing...)

I hate this pairing more than is probably rational, but I don't care. I just hate it. Faith is an incredible character who has come so far, and Robin is an annoying character who was just created to cause more drama for Spike's character (which was not at all necessary) with the whole Nikki Wood thing, and then the whole going on a date with Buffy thing. It was just so last minute and ridiculous.
And as a Fuffy shipper, it annoys me to high hell that the scene right after The First tells Faith that deep down she always wanted Buffy to love her...she has to hope on the next guy that walks in the room. Way to try to convince everyone that Faith is super straight, writers! It's not working.

Perfect summation. I hate Wood too.
@gite63

I'll take your 4 and add one more.

Cordelia/Connor
Cordelia/Groo
Gunn/Fred
Buffy/Angel
Xander/Willow

Ah, no, Xander and Will had its charm...

Cordy and Connor, ew.

Cordy and Groo-Angel-clone had no spark; I like The Groosaloogg in Pylea, with long hair and attitude, or in the comics with the dragon (I love dragons), short hair Groo trying to mate with Cordy, no - and Cordy shouldn't have looked for any prophylactic whatever to mate with him while Angel was pining for her... "Kyerumption", you know...

Gunn and Fred together became something very boring and diabetic sweet sometimes.

Buffy and Angel... no, no, let's leave at that.

No, Xander and Will were friends. I could never see them as lovers. I hate it when writers can't see that some relationships are perfect the way they are, they don't have to add romance.

Good point.
So we are talking actual couples or relationships in general? So hard to put categories on this stuff. Mine have no particular order.

Faith/Wood - Wahuh?

Willow/Tara and Willow/Kennedy - first one is unhealthy and after Tara's death the last thing she needed was a romantic interest so soon who bulldozered all over her while she was weak

Cordy/Angel - not a couple but why can't men and women just be friends for once, geez. It made no sense for the characters they were. At least this one was only hinted at unlike

Buffy/Spike - YUCK!!! with ICK!!! on top of it. So many problems in this non-couple (ignoring the comics) I wouldn't know where to start.

Xander/Anya - My main problem is with Anya as a character and then how much sense it didn't make for Xander to be dating her.

Crap that's already 5. I wanted to list pretty much each one that ever existed in one form or another. Also I've never understood the hots people have for vampire/human couplings. What's so hot and romantic about shagging a corpse? Can you say 'eww'.

Really agree with most of these.

no ranking but:
Buffy/Angel
Cordelia/Angel
Fred/Wesley
Willow with any girlfriend post Tara, they just are too flat and forced
Xander with any girl he had till now, just not suitable and unhealthy

Anyone with Cordelia, how many places does that use up? Warren and anyone...April, Katrina, Andrew...fail, fail, fail.

Anyone with Wes...gag much. Anyone with Angel because he basically appears to be incapable of anything remotely resembling a relationship. Whenever he has a chance with someone interesting he shoots both of them in the foot.

Yeah Warren SHOULD NOT be with anyone for sure.
