Trump - the Republican candidate

I think he has to by law, at some point.

I think it's good US politicians do this. It's only recently become an issue in the UK. If Trump doesn't do it, I'd think he was hiding something worrying - probably that he's got no money 🙂

I do have a soft spot for Obama though, he comes across as a genuinely nice guy just doing his best, but I don't live in his country, so maybe that's just his PR machine doing excellent work? 😉

Obama is the Anti-Christ.

I always thought that is a dumb statement, surely Anti-God has more meaning.
Is it true he won't divulge his tax returns? Isn't that a worry?

It shouldn't really matter. You can bet that every deduction and loophole that he has exploited in his tax returns is absolutely legal. He can afford to pay some team of tax specialists $100,000 in order to find ways to save him $50,000,000. I read somewhere that there are something like 9000 pages in the Federal Tax Code, with legal deductions and deferments that almost no one has ever heard of. All that he has to do is pay someone to find the ones that he can exploit. Anyone can do it, and it's perfectly legal. The problem is, very few people actually know where to find all those loopholes.

If the government wanted to, they could fix the loophole that these people who avoid paying operate. But they don't, I wonder why?
The biggest joke of all is that these people say they love their country.

Then the tax office swaggers about to the bloke in the street, and then it runs away from big business.

I wonder how better off the countries of the world could be if everyone had to pay the same taxes as the person in the street.

Can you imagine what would happen if those loopholes were made public knowledge. The tax companies/ countries would go
broke overnight if everyone claimed their money back.

Maybe Trump wants to be the NO:1 guy so he can rort the system some more and make those loophole legal.

The country would be in worse shape if businesses did not get special tax breaks. More people would be out of work and the amount of new businesses that start would be greatly reduced. Tax breaks or 'loopholes' are not a bad thing, and they are available to EVERYONE as long as you qualify to receive them.

It is consumers who create jobs - by consuming widgets and whatsits. If they can't afford to consume then we have an economic slowdown.
