There used to always be a thread here where people could post their unpopular opinions about characters, twists, storylines ect...

So here I'm making it again. 🙂

I'll start...

- I never was much of a fan of 'This Year's Girl'(the episode, not the member lol) and 'Who Are You?'. I don't know why it's so liked! 😛
- I actually enjoyed S8 overall... Just not the last part.
- Riley/Willow would have been nice.
- Glory was annoying!
- Snyder shouldn't have died! And gotten moved to UC, Sunnydale. 😉

Everybody been beat to death already with my hate for OMWF!!!!

The thing that pisses me off the most is the Cordy thing in s5 and i hate Why We Fight i think its called but i don't think those oppinions are unpopular lol

I really like This Years Girl and Who Are You? But mostly because I like Faith, and the best fight scenes in the show were between Faith and Buffy. Other then that I pretty much agree, though Snyder becoming a dean at UC, Sunnydale, might not be as funny as getting eaten by a giant snake.

As for unpopular opinions mine are I generally like Dawn and think her addition was a definite positive for the show, I think that Buffy/Riley was a good relationship and probably one the healthiest ships on the show, though Tara and Willow were probably a match.

I agree about Snyder. He should have joined The Watcher's Council after High School.

My most unpopular opinion is probably that I grew to dislike Willow in the later seasons. I love Tara (although I feel Willow's being gay instead of bisexual is a little difficult to grasp based on everything that happens in the first 3 seasons)but Willow's addiction to and abuse of magic almost ruins the character in my eyes.

Willow is shown to be one of the most stable, intelligent, awesome characters at the beginning of the show and then she becomes this addict/recovering addict character for the end of the show despite the fact that (she has a wonderful girlfriend, no financial pressure, is doing well at college, has great and supportive friends, hasn't been through half of what Buffy's been through at least until Tara dies). I know people with good lives still become addicts but the fact that everything has gone so well for Willow and she still becomes this pathetic addict person makes her unsympathetic in my opinion.

Xander and Buffy have more financial and family struggles than Willow and yet they end up taking care of her.

Since when is it unpopular to like Principal Snyder? That guy was one of the best characters on the show! He was such a jerk...and I loved him for it!

I don't get Restless. It bores me. It puts me to sleep. Cheeseman is funny the first time, then he gets annoying This is frequently listed as one of the best BtVS episodes of all time, but it's actually in my bottom 5.

Really. Especially since at the end, it became almost painfully obvious that Angel was a tool.

- Where The Wild Things Are is brilliant
- Angel season 4 is the most epic year of television ever
- I like Harmony
- Buffy-Riley worked and she was stupid to let him go
- Lover's Walk makes me angry (The Willow-Xander BS)
- Spike is miss-used and overrated

I really don't like Angel.
I don't like "Butsu"...in fact I hate it.
I never liked that the show didn't have more realism in the way of body types. I wanted to see a wider range of ethnicities as well.
I really loved Mayor Wilkins.😱

- Harmony is awesome. She should have been on the show more
- Oz wasn't that great...I feel Seth Green did the best with a boring character
- I like Cordelia more than Buffy
- Xander is annoying in seasons 5-7
- Principal Snyder is epic
- Gwen Raiden should have been a main character
- I like the Fang Gang more than the Scoobies
- I like AtS more than BtVS
- I hate Buffy season 7
- I don't like Hush
- Wesley is more interesting than Giles (Giles is great in 1-3, but in 4-7 he doesn't do much except for a couple amazing moments, ex: Grave)
- I like Spike and Buffy...just not as a couple
- Lorne is the best demon in the Buffyverse. Period.
- Doyle should have never died
- Kate Lockley is amazing. She should have been with Angel

- I would have wanted to see more Nina.
- I don't really like the thought of Wes and Fred together
- Spike, to me, is grossly overrated
- The only character I really like in Buffy s7 is Buffy. (And Andrew 🙂)
- I would probably have wanted Fred/Gunn to stay together

Riley is my top three fav character.

I would watch the show and probably love it even more if Harmony was a series regular and maybe even a scoobie 😀

I suppose my most unpopular opinion would be that I never liked Cordelia and after many many rewatches, it's safe to say I never will. If anything, I dislike her more and more every time I go through it again.

- I did not like the Cordelia transformed that happened basically all of Angel. I liked her more in BtVS
-I liked Nina and Angel (Nangel? Idk their couple name) better than Cangel.
-I hated the Willow and Kennedy relationship. Hated. Hated. Hated.

Hating Kennedy and the Kennedy/Willow relationship is not unpopular, it's basically the majority lol 😀

Like [MENTION=11463]AlyInWonderland[/MENTION], I hated the 30 something year old Cordelia we saw in Ats. I much prefer actual teenage Cordelia in Buffy

Really? I'm suppose to feel sorry for her because her dad cheated on the taxes and Cordy didn't get to have pretty things anymore... ? I don't think so.
And I might add that not once did she seem to think that "oh no my dad's a bad guy perhaps he should have followed the law", nope it was all "poor me, where's my pretty stuff? I wanna be a Queen Bee again"

I think it's when this happens that I just cannot respect her anymore. I don't like her and remembering back to every watch I've ever done, I've never really gotten over this part. I'm always like "excuse me? When I was 8, we were so poor we literally didn't know where our next meal was coming from and you're upset because you can't afford a super expensive prom dress?? Um... it's called a thrift store. I got my senior prom dress for three freaking dollars!" And not only is it one of those stupid "rich people gone poor" cases that I really don't have sympathy for at all.. It's not even like "I got screwed out of my money" or "I made a bad business decision" or "the economy went to hell"... It's "my dad cheated on his taxes and then he got caught." And she doesn't ONCE say something like "I wish my dad hadn't done that" or "my stupid father" no... it's like she places the blame on the IRS. I feel less than no sympathy for her... I feel anger at her and her father.

I don't really like Buffy ( I love Sarah though so it makes it tough)
I find Angel and Buffy to be very overrated
I like Angel the show more than Buffy
I don't really LOVE Tara/Willow
I don't really LOVE Xander. I like him but his ways make it hard to even love him anymore.
I like Dawn overall
I LOVE Andrew and Jonathon
I like the one potential what is her name? The one played by Sara Hagan lol I like her.
I like Riley but like usual I think Buffy made him look bad at times. Over time I have come to see she is the problem.
I used to love Anya/Xander but now I don't like them as much because I find Xander to be a hypocrite for being with her.
Cordy to me is a far stronger female lead than Buffy. I would go as far to say Willow is more of the female lead in my eyes at times.
I prefer Faith to Buffy slayer wise. I like her more plus I think Eliza is more believe as a badass slayer.
