People who don't have the life experience to be talking about things in an authortattive (sp!) manner doing so. If you have an opinion, fine, but if you're only 10 talking about driving a car, 15 talking about drinking or 16 talking about gambling you can have an opinion on the matter but you won't know what it's really about, or understand it fully, until you can actively participate in it. And, for the love of god, don't patronise me/others. I find it really pathetic when a, for example, twelve year old starts lecturing me about smoking, because, at the end of the day, I won't be doing it around them (because I'm good at that, I'm a fairly considerate smoker as long as people don't treat me like scum because I smoke) and it should have a minimal impact on their lives.
Hm, forget what I said earlier.
😀 Like, for me, I WOULD lecture somebody on smoking/drinking because at my age I'm constantly learning all about the dangers of smoking and drinking, and how it ruins lives, etc. So then (some) of us get this terror of it, it's like a taboo, and we think that it's horrible. And then we don't get why adults do it, since, you know, toxins and death sticks. I guess the horror just fades over time once it stops getting preached to (hypothetical) you.
🙂
Then again, I know 6th graders (Ugh, most 6th graders annoy me...) who watch porn in their spare time and twelve year-olds who enjoy getting drunk. Times change.
😀
Also, people that openly stare at/laugh at/make comments at/about the disabled kids I work with. Even though some of these kids could be classed as "dangerous", they bring a joy to my life, my other co-workers lives and their parents. They're in secure facilities depending on their needs and would never be able to hurt anyone; so don't tell me they should be put down like dogs because they serve no purpose in this world.
&&breathe!
Yeah, nowadays (Since, like, a couple of months ago) I live by the quote "Live, and let live." For me, it seems like the best philosophy, pretty much for everything.
😀
Hm. Let's see. I guess that a lot of things annoy me.
😀 I don't like it when people overestimate me. I mean, at the end of the day, I AM a "Little Girl" (as much as I hate to admit it.
😀 ). That means that I
will make a lot of mistakes, I
will change my opinions
all the time, I
will be a complete hypocrite, and I WILL be VERY contradictory. Yup. That's me. And I'm not even a teen yet, so the worst years are yet to come. :biggrin3:
On that same thought, I don't like it when people underestimate. OK, really, I don't like to be "Estimated" in general (I mentioned the "Contradictory" thing, right?
😉 ). :biggrin3:
Misogyny is a big "NO" for me.
🙂 That
always gets on my nerves... Using the word "B****" as a derogatory insult. On the same page, the word "Slut" or any form of it.
