Re: Probably the best season since Season 2!

The three nerds being the only villains, theres been no real threat of evil, and it just goes to show that Buffy isn't quite on the ball any more since she couldn't even take care of them for the longest time. (Remember, this is someone who defeated a hell-god.)
I think the thing with Spike was interesting, but predictable even from all the way back in Season 4. (Which was probably the worst season ever...) I also like that Riley has been fairly absent from this season, he was a horribly bland character, and the whole initiative thing was kind of silly. The two most recent episodes ("Seeing Red", "Villains") have been great! "Seeing Red" finally gave closure to most of the nerd crap, and the ending was spectacular for obvious reasons. "Villains" was just great because of evil Willow. (And the quote from her vampire self, "Bored now...") I can't wait to see her and Buffy show-down in the finale, but I expect someone will talk Willow down just before either her or Buffy go down. I just wonder if Spike will be back in Sunnydale before the end....
You said a lot of interesting things there, Perigon

I find it interesting and unusual that you have thought it has been the best since season 2! Most people (myself
NOT included) have felt that season 6 has been below standard, save a few episodes at the end, and near the beginning.
Personally, i have ::heart::d every minute, and have thought the interesting character development was clever and entertaining, and that the fact it has not focussed on "random evil" has been good and different.
It is fair enough that she has not been "quite on the ball" as i
imagine the whole resurrection thing was quite strenuous . . . lol, i dont think her powers have weakened, she just needs to get motivated again and to start to enjoy and experience life again!
I agree, season 4 was probably the worst. Riley was more than bland, he had no spark, no 'special something' like angel and spike have.
"Seeing Red" was brilliant, and i cant wait till tonight when i see "Villians"!
PS I havent seen you around, welcome!
