I know that's what she said. And I guess that's how she felt at the moment.For me, going against Giles and the rest at the end of s5 in not wanting to sacrifice Dawn. I understand completely why she couldn't or wouldn't and I feel a lot for her at that moment but to willingly let the world get sucked more or less into hell where Dawn would most likely die soon along with countless of other innocent people, Buffy's friends and perhaps herself... yes, that's a bad decision to me.
But I've never been convinced that she would actually let the world go to hell instead of sacrifice Dawn if it had actually come to that.
So I would never call it her worst decision since i don't believe it truly was her final decision on the subject. 🙂

Never liked whenever she kept things from her friends. Believing they wouldn't understand and whatnot.
Really bad idea, they proved many times that they worked best together without secrets.
