When Harry Met Sally

This isn't the first negative review I've read about "When Harry Met Sally." Some lowlife from Scotland wrote that his dead grandmother could've played a better Sally than Alyson. Man, these British critics have a lot of nerve for putting down Alyson Hannigan's performance! They can go to hell!!!

Oh so I take it from your strong response that you have seen Alyson in When Harry Met Sally? I'm guessing you haven't so that kinda makes your views on how wrong the critics are not worth much. Just because she is from your favourite show that doesn't mean she is automaticly good at everything and that people are wrong to say something against her. Just accept that maybe the show isn't very good. No need to call people lowlifes and condem them to hell lol.

You're right. I haven't seen the play. But my point was that certain critics, particularly the one who mentioned his grandmom, go too far by being nasty and insulting. Those are the ones I was referring too...wiseass.

I don't think their acting could have been that bad. I mean, I've never payed attention to Luke Perry much, but I've seen a lot of Alyson Hannigan and I think her acting is great, not just because she was on Buffy. I guess the critics have their own opinions, obviously because that's there job, but I dunno. I'd have to see the play in order to judge how good or bad it was. ALthough I love Alsyon, all actors/actresses have done a bad role before, maybe this was hers. *shrug*

I think when the first reviewer mentioned that they have no skills on the stage and it shows has a point, for some reason it seems harder for actors to go from the screen to the stage but far less difficult to go the other way. Besides castinf Luke Perry in anything other than the role of a brooding teen is a waste of time.
One final thing yes the critics seem harsh but truthfully they are that way because most people find it amusing to read, it will naturally be more entertaining to read something overtly negative than something that read " well Luke Perry was not very good and the play in general was not very good but he is a good actor otherwise" 🙂

Mean !!!!! I didn't see the play, ok, but they shouldn't be so nasty !!!
Ack, if I had the writer of this critic close to me, he would hear me !!!

Well, I personally think there is a huge difference between acting on stage and acting for tv/movies. For one, there are no cut's or redo's. Maybe the two of them are not cut out for actors on stage. But considering I did not see the play myself, I do not know.

But I do feel bad for them, though. I sucks when people get a bad review.

My friend went to see this and she got to hug Aly!!! And Joss and Alexis were there! How cool is that!

Bah! I got no meeting, no photos, and definately no Joss.. :: broken

Ach well.. it was amazing anyway. We didn't have the bestest seats, so photos wouldn't really show much.. I still saw her holyness though ::blush::
