Who was the better villian the Turok Han or Caleb

Caleb.

The character had a really great introduction.

Plus the scene whe he 1st encounters Buffy and smacks her across the room was hilarious.

Agree.. I like it whenever Buffy gets beat up!
I think Caleb was the better villain because not only was he strong and virtually unstoppable
(well, before Buffy got the scythe!)
, bu he could talk instead of just growl, so he could get in their minds and under their skin to make them doubt themselves. I loved Caleb. 🙂

Definitely Caleb. What made him interesting is that he is someone who had chosen evil and yet believes that his actions are for the greater good - which includes killing girls and young women.

Caleb was pure evil,he had no remorse when he killed that potential in the vinyard.I was just another day at the office for him.
My favorite line was"Things dont go exac'ly your way,now here
come the water works, aint that jus like a woman".
classic in my book.

Caleb had a lot of great lines. :D And Nathan Fillion delivered them perfectly!
an Ubervamp was killed with a bit of wire or a piece of wood.... Caleb needed a magical sword-like Scythe to bring him down.

Unless this is a discussion about an ARMY of ubervamps, not sure how Caleb will ever be beaten in this one. Even against an army; he proved to be far more effective than a slayer and her stake.

Definitely Caleb for many reasons. Most of them already mentioned, but also cause he is the only villain to ever do any real physical and permanent damage to any of the main characters.

Not that I enjoy seeing poor Xander get his eye plucked out, but it is brilliant in it's irony and the devastating affect it has on everyone.

It seems like one of the mission statements of the show was to have "likeable" villains, or somehow "funny" villains. Even though I hated Caleb, I enjoyed watching him. Okay okay, part of that just happens to relate to the awesomeness of Nathan Fillion, but that's a given.

The Turok Han were big and nasty, somewhat cool looking things, but they had no personality. They were just... evil. In a way that was refreshing, since most villains on the show were layered at least a tad, but it didn't make with the humor at all.

Caleb all the way. I just wish his hair would have been shorter; the length and slight poofiness gave him a childish look which didn't fit with his personality.

I agree... I mean, look at The Mayor and Glory. 😀

Glory. She was half as strong as superman. She can kill all the turok han vamps and Caleb.

Yeah the Turok Han are just boring ol' snarly creepies just like any number of other random baddies in Buffy/Angel. Caleb on the other hand goes along with the Mayor and Glory as gloriously and impressively evil.

It's like asking me if I prefer a big mac or a aged 23 oz Kobe Beef filet. Sure the Big Mac tastes nice but it's just like 300 other things.

I thought caleb was badass and i love how he express his hate for women very nastly ..

Plus i think the first turok han could do damage on Glory,I didnt get it glory a god but did not do half the damage what the turok han did to Buffy....

I'm one of those rare individuals that just doesn't dig Nathan Fillion, but I have to say, he really made Calab a hundred times more badass than anyone else would have. So, Caleb for sure.

Whilst i wacth season 7 again , i love caled darkness. So i perfer Caleb then the Turok han now lol ...

Oh, reading the title I thought you were talking about Turok...
But Caleb would've beaten even him. Every time I watch Slither, I expect Nathan to poke somebodys eye out...

I am a big fan of Caleb to be sure. He was a surprisingly deep character considering his short span on the show whereas the Turok Han seemed pretty 2-dimensional as just uber vamps. I really wish Caleb was introduced earlier and they skipped the uber vamps entirely as I don't believe they added much to the show. Unlike Caleb or the Bringers, the Turok Han didn't really make much sense, especially in regards to why they served The First. They just seemed to be there to make vampires scary again.
