I hate Columbia so much right now. Please let there be some justice and we see them off in extra time.
 
I actually jumped out my seat when Columbia scored!

Tbh, if it wasn't England they were playing, I'd be hoping Columbia go home after their dirty tactics.
 
Get in!!! That's absolutely unbelievable stuff. The scenes here are amazing. Congratulations to the lads. Columbia thoroughly deserve that. Scum.

But they weren't full-on headbutts. He put his head into Henderson. Even Gary Neville said Henderson didn't need to go down. By the letter of the law the Colombian should have got a red card, but Jordan should have got a booking for diving too.


Anyway, England winning on penalties just doesn't feel right. They've let us down! A national disgrace, haha!😛
 
I missed both games today. Long day at work...
Only just caught England winning the penalties. Glad to see them through though.

Sweden vs England in the quarterfinal could be fun. 🙂

I felt so bad for that one English footballer that missed a penalty he looked so defeated, I was trying to reassure him through the screen 🙁
So glad they won 😀
 
Man what happened to predictions that England would suck this WC? Lol 😉 I didn’t think Columbia’s play was all that bad. I’ve seen worse from watching y’alls leagues. I’d say dirty play is certainly not limited to South America.

It was a decent hit as well. We all had our heads in our hands. Been there before. Then they hit the bar and we're back in the match. Still buzzing. We should have a weeks holiday to recover.

I missed the match and caught the penalties. ISo glad we won but it was close. I think this is the furthest we've gotten in years.
 
I keep telling you guys THIS! is the best England Football song, plus it fits because it was done for a World Cup!😀
 
My predictions for the last eight:

France 2-1 Uruguay (wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way)

Brazil 0-0 Belgium (Brazil to nick it on Pens 4-3)

Sweden 1-2 England

Russia 2-3 Croatia
 
I'd say Belgium to beat Brazil, at least I hope so. It's a strong squad if they can get the balance right and they'll still be buzzing after the Japan match.
 
Viva la France! The Auld Alliance! And all that other nonsense. I supported France cos they're a different team nowadays (from the team Scotland thrashed), and I don't particularly like Suarez. Belgium or France to win!
 
Can't believe how many chances Brazil missed. lol
Looking good for France to take the whole thing now imho.
