Drusilla as a vampire was crazy. She never seemed just a little bit sorry for killing anyone.
My personal favorite was when she told Holland Manners that his wife tasted like honey.
I'm kind of angry that we never got to see Drusilla with a soul, sorry for everything she's done. Sure, she's great without, but I think her especially would be interesting to see repenting and feeling sorry for her actions. What about you?
Would you have liked to see Dru with a soul?

In her present mental state, I don't think that it would really matter one way or the other. Even with a soul, she would have no sense of right or wrong, on judgment. Basically, if she had a soul, she would just take it out and play with it.

The way Angelus had tortured and broken her, I think ensouling her and letting her carry the weight of what she'd done would be too cruel. Besides, she'd probably just walk right into the first sunrise.

Not if we still got both Angel and Spike with souls.
Then it would feel like everyone got souls. There is a limit how many times you can go that way without it getting old.

But it could be fun to see Drusilla with a soul instead of Spike for instance.
Having said that I'm not sure it would really work. Drusilla was already crazy, not sure that having a soul would change much.

Nope! I can't stand Dru, like other people have said, and don't think I'd have wanted to see any more of her. 😛

I think it would have been interesting to watch how she did or did not handle it even if it was for just one episode. I think she would have hated every second, complaining she had been poisoned with a soul and would have done everything to get rid of it 🙂

I voted No. I like Dru and I think she's already cool the way she is. But I'm sure she'll be very sweet girl if she got a soul. Sweet that everyone would love her.

But no, I like her without soul except when she killed Kendra.

It's a no for me. She's crazy either way, but with a soul you would add alot more craziness.

Drusilla

I voted no, just cause I hate Dru. LOL I wouldn't want to see any more of her than we have in the series. 😛

I love Dru, but if you hated dru why woulldnt you want to see her as the opposite of herself? i mean it makes sense if shes evil as ussual but if shes the opposite wouldnt you love her? i mean i am just a little curious

I don't think I would've wanted to see her with a soul.

Trying to bring in a new perspective, the other 3 of our favourite vampire gang sort of had it coming. They had done evil and they all chose for it! Darla to escape death, Angel out of curiosity, and Spike...god knows. Well the point being, of course they would've been dead (the kind where you don't walk around anymore) if they hadn't chosen like this, but they wouldn't have become monsters. Drusilla, on the other hand, was tortured into this. Angelus strategially turned her crazy, killed everyone dear to her and ruined her life. And I'm guessing he didn't give her much choice in becoming a vampire either! Even if he did, I'm pretty sure Drusilla, as a strongly religious person, would've rather died than joined Angelus. So looking at the matter like that I think giving her a soul would just be a lot more cruel than to the others - realising what she had become against her will.

I voted yes. I love Drusilla. The way she is isn't her fault. Angel drove her to insanity. I think she's easily one of the most interesting and multi-dimensional characters in the 'verse. Everything she says enchants me. I love how she was a "seer" when she was human because it adds to her personality as a vampire. She believed she was evil because of it and just wanted to be good. Like Spike, she has more humanity in her than Angelus did. I think it would be fun to see how she'd react to the guilt of everything she'd done as a vampire.

I voted no. I like her all crazy and bad. If she got a soul, she'd just be crazy and even more crazy.

Nah - for me Dru is mad as bats in a belfry and to have had her going all serious on us would have taken away the fun of the character.

I never want Drusilla to get her soul back. Could you imagine the pain? Her family killed, her living with their killer(and maybe loving him?) and having killed so many people herself. I mean she was crazy before that, and adding guilt to her normal crazyness...

I doubt she would be very enteratining to watch/read about. I wouldn't be surprised if she lost completely grip on reality.

You honestly believe that they had a choice? Darla lay sick, Liam & William were seduced by hot women, and I think none of them choose to become murderers. They had no idea what was waiting for them, and that's why they didn't fight it.

I know we didn't get to see much of how they were as humans, but what kind of Hannibal-wanna be's would choose being a coldblooded murderer? I think it's fair to assume that they had no idea what they were about to become, so comparing their situation to Drusilla's that way isn't fair.

Not that you don't have the right to believe what you believe, sorry if I came across as rude.

Strongly agreed on all points.
I think she is great as she is
Also after seeing spike getting his soul he's become too soft and mental.
Its making to show confusing to be honest
I thought at the end of season six he wanted the chip removed not his soul returned

It's an interesting concept admittedly, but I think no because the beauty of Dru is craziness and how evil she is within that without being purely evil- she is what she is and what other evils have made her, if you get me? Adding a soul to the mix would be just a little too much and would destroy all that. I mean I think she would be constantly flipping between good and evil or would go even more insane....
Like I said interesting concept but I personally don't think it could or should work.
