It's definite. I am a Spuffy-fan. At least way more than a Bangel-fan, because this feels so wrong. How will this work with the IDW series? Is it a lie? Is Joss trying to fool us with these covers? Why did Angel go evil? Is Buffy and Angel looking so romantic a trick, or will Angel/Twilight, who almost got Buffy killed several times, and Buffy hook up?

This is so wrong. And in case it's true, way to ruin the surprise. It's like with issue 19's cover with Dark Willow and Buffy in pain reflected in her eye, when I was so surprised it was actually Future Evil Willow who was the mystery woman, because I didn't think they would spoiler us like that.

WTF? That's really all I have to say. This looks messed. If he is Twilight, not smart to be getting romantic. That has nothing to do with me being a Spuffy by the way. If he is Twilight than he is a twisted evil person out to get her. And why would he go evil anyway?? Again WTF?
hahaha I really hope that Princess Buffy replys to this. She'll probably be more pissed than I am. 😛

Anybody could be under that Twilight's costume! Remember that TaDa cover (with Obama version of it), it was like Twilight popped out of nowhere in the middle of the Scoobies. Maybe this costume was stolen being the only way to escape from the real Twilight. I hope it's a mislead.

The problems would be great with IDW (I think)

There's something were not being let in on. Angel isn't Twilight, at least not the Twilight we have come to know. There is something HUGE that we are missing. We've been played for this entire season.

There is no way they would have kept the identity so tight lipped for the last 4 years only to give itaway like this. Angel isn't the shock, it is gona be something else entirely.

I'm 90% sure these covers are fakes.

They've spent waaaay too much time and effort building up this Big Reveal to give it away like this. I think the sheer goofiness of the Jeanty cover is a dead giveaway. Hearts and kisses? It looks like a 1960's romance comic. Is Joss going to turn the series into a screwball parody at this critical point? I doubt it. Giving that kind of finger to fans who have followed this book for nearly 3 years would be out of character for him, and very unwise from a PR standpoint.

Fake covers have been "leaked" for Joss comics before... during his X-Men run, when they were trying to hide the fact that Colossus was being resurrected.

Not necessarily. I think there is a few possiblities for this.

1. It's a joke/red herring whatever.
2. Twilight was never the big bad.
3. Angel isn't actually Twilight, the reveal is fake.

There is something big we really don't know.
