Question How do you guys think spike would've died at the end of his original run

Something memorable would have been good. It would have been great for Spike to die at the top of his game as one of the most memorable villains I have ever seen in an epic fashion. Though vampire deaths do tend to be poof, dead.
 
Oh, duh. Have Dru intercede for him, spare him execution, and bury him alive. We don’t do that enough in this series. It would also be a good opportunity to explain that special kinds of woods only immobilize vampires, which is definitely an idea the writers could have used.
