I don't understand some reactions

Yes it was a bad thing it was because it was selfish. Demon Spike didn't care if he hurt Buffy as long as he got what he wanted; emotional manipulation, blackmail, sexual assault.
Demon-love is selfish love.

Again not entirely unselfish. Spike at the very least wanted (actually demanded) Buffy to forgive him for 'hs' past actions against her. He wanted credit for getting a soul and told her this on multiple occasions.
I do agree that he was more successful in Season 7 though.

The fact that Spike thinks of Buffy's love/heart as something that needs to be won just shows his giant immaturity and inexperience with love. It's Buffy's to give, not Spike's to be won by whatever means necessary.

Are you kidding? I can't tell because the writing seems to parody the letter but at the same time you're a spuffy shipper so I have no idea where your opinion lies when it comes to smg. But if you're not kidding though... smg doesn't owe fans anything and she's been extremely grateful and careful to make sure this wasn't her picking James. She's given a lot to both shipper groups despite her preferences. At this point the fans who are complaining are the ungrateful ones.

I think if I wanted people to think I was GoSpuffy then I wouldn't have said GoneSpuffy, and maybe would have changed my name also, so no. But I wore this damn amulet she gave me and I'm starting to feel alittle wonky.

It was that damn pendant of yours... at first it was just itchy and scratchy but then I started breaking out in little Spuffies everywhere.
I never understood why Angel was not pale.

But seriously though, everyone is allowed have an opinion. Reminds me of the angry Team Jacob fans from back in the Twilight days when KStew picked Team Edward. At least that died in the early 2010 era.
