This sounds like my state of mind when I retired. (Well, I got retired - the head of HR for the company called me in and said, "You don't work here anymore." and no one wants to hire an older engineer.) I had a lot of projects to do - in my collection of antique radios, I had a number that I had never even switched on yet as well as some to repair. Most of them are still in that state and some that were working no longer are. I am not bored because I can always pick up a project and start working on it. Or I can watch TV until the urge to do something goes away.
