Infinity Pool 4 or 5/10 I really didn't enjoy it even if I liked the actors and the horror plot had potential, its execution was off in my opinion.

Grapes of Wrath - 10/10
Still a classic, and relevant to today, if you replaced "Okies" with Latino immigrants. I love Ma Joad and her ending speech, "They can't wipe us out, and they can't lick us. We'll go on forever, Pa, 'cause we're the people."

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) - 7/10
Honestly can’t have much to complain about it’s a worthy sequel and farewell to Ford as Jones. The new characters add something too with Phoebe Waller-Bridge stealing much of the film, and the villain also a standout. Found the ending touching too.

She Said (2022) - 8/10

Insidious The Red Door (2023) - 4.5/10
A pretty bland plodding movie which became very silly in the final 20 minutes. Chris is easily the best character. But it’s all a bit underwhelming.

Oh, that's disappointing :(
Thor: Love and Thunder - 7/10
It very well could've been a 6.5, I guess I'll see on my next watch. The only thing I know for sure is that it's better than Thor 1&2 but not as good as Ragnarok. There were things I liked, and things I disliked, but unfortunately, very few things I loved, those being; Bale as the villain, he was great, that they actually killed off Jane, I didn't think they'd do that, and the whole scene in the planet full of Gods. Mostly it was meh, yet enjoyable. Kinda conflicted about it, not gonna lie.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - 9.5/10
Another strong outing, right up there with No Way Home, it was such a good movie and had the best visuals of any MCU film, to date. Sam Raimi did a fantastic job!

Camp Blood (1999) - 1.5/10

Some of the worst mixing, editing, sound dubbing and acting your likely to see. Unwatchable bar a few amusing moments. So cheap they reuse two of the main cast in smaller roles at the end. I’ll dive into the sequels I guess🤣

Sleeping with Other People - 7
Raunchy rom-com with good chemistry between the leads Jason Sudeikis and the great Alison Brie. Very funny in parts

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves - 6.5
Very watchable if slightly forgettable adventure comedy which was way better + funnier than I was expecting

Showing Up - 7.5
Latest from Kelly Reichardt which moves quite slowly so wont be to everybody's taste but is strangely moving with a dry sense of humour and a great performance by Michelle Williams

Asteroid City (2023) - 6/10 (Once again, a Wes Anderson movie with no real characters, just some quirky concepts posed as characters... which used to be fun, but now I am bored. - Rushmore is my favourite Wes Anderson movie, it was pretty honest)
I get what you mean but nobody makes films like Wes Anderson so I still look forward to watching a new film of that type every 2 or 3 years. Even the films that don't completely work are still watchable. Not seen Asteroid City yet but agree that Rushmore is his best film

Night of the Comet - 7
Fun, eighties comedy sci- fi.

This film came out when Joss was in his late teens and features a feisty, wise cracking, blonde 16 year old cheerleader who fights boys, is good with weapons, likes a good one-liner, still thinks about boys + fashion while dealing with the apocalypse and has a pet dog called Muffy. I wonder if Joss has seen it ?

I think i need to see this!
Kong: Skull Island
6.5/10 - it was a bit all over the place, and after watching the 2005 version of King Kong, doesn't stack up against it.

At the same time, not exactly a film that you need to switch your brain on for, just a bit of mindless fun.

That’s fair. The original 30s film is also worth checking out. Not seen the 70s one yet.
Mr Trick - I'd love to see the original 1933 film, along with the rest of them made over the years. I think there's 13 films thus far on Kong in total?

Didn’t think there was that many. There’s more Godzilla’s.
