As an alternative, Harder could actually start from the point in "Real Me" where Dawn invites vampire Harmony into the house because she doesn't know any better and Harmony and Xander wrestle. Just have the rematch go well where they fight, Harmony gets injured, Xander helps her instead of dispatching her and things start from there.

Hmmm I think Harder will work better in S4. After Spike attempts to kill Harmony and Anya tells Xander she's "over him". Lonely Xander and Harmony who have been treated like sex toys in their limited sexual experiences could find each other.

I think its wierd that anybody ships Giles/Buffy; two pretty characters does not automatically equate a great relationship.
I think its very novel that at least one prominent member of the BtVS cast doesn't instantly have a crush on Buffy. I also like that about Oz. (although because of SMG and Seth's friendship I could actually see Boz a teensey bit)

Also Cordelia and any girl; nope. Cordelia rarely has romantic chemistry and she has none with any female cast member.

I really like the idea of Giles/Xander though. the two Scoobies who could've actually formed a better bond on the show. I picture a shared closet full of tweed and Hawaiian shirts!

Haha fair enough. 🙂 And I agree.
Above everything else Faith needs some emotional stability in her partner; Spike is far too volatile and too prone to violence even in his souled state. That way lies too many unpleasant slagging matches. Gasoline and a match. People should focus on their interaction in 'Touched' more.
Also a massive cynic and a massive romantic do not compliment, trust me I know. They do not balance each other out but only clash in their fundamental world-view. Faith wouldn't have any patience for Spike's declarations of love or whatever. The eye-rollingly shippy-est pairing.

What you need for Faith is the sincerity and sweet devotion without the lashings of entitlement; someone like Gunn or Willow.

That's right, Clem and Dawn. Clem is not an enemy of humans and is quite prepared to babysit Dawn in Spike's old crypt and share his junk food in "Two to Go". There is no hint of sexual impropriety between them. Clem also shows he is fun-loving in "Potential" when the meets the potentials in the bar and scares them. I think the playful nature of Clem would go a great deal of the way to cure Dawn of her continual angst.

I've seen him shipped with Dawn, which is actually a pretty adorable pairing, especially as she is several inches taller than him post-S6 🙂

I've seen some Oz/Faith fics (usually in an alt-S4 where Oz stays in Sunnydale post-NMR with a 'never went evil' Faith),
I think the rationale being the Verruca plot opened up that sort of pairing. Although Foz (*snigger*) seems more about Oz grounding's wildness because he's all sweet and zen-like.
