I LOVED the B+S heart. It's just further proof I am Spike incarnate and he is me in fiction male vampire form. *sigh* I love my Spikey!

I loved the end how Buffy's like "Where've you been?" In my head she sounds like one of those annoyed wives when their husbands come home late.. like "Where have you been? I have a kid to take care of and dinner to make, I could have REALLY used your help! Your answer had better be a good one!"

You're right. On Buffy when everything starts to look really good it only means one thing: there's a tragedy coming.

That's why I want the good things to happen only when it's the show's ending. That's when Joss can give us a happy ending without having to kill anyone. He can, but he also has the above option. What does it matter to him if the characters are happy or not if the show ends?

So that's the best option for me. Because I want happiness for Buffy and Spike, but not if it ends badly. If they're not together through the rest series, that's okay, so long as they will have happy ending, of them ending up together, even in the last episode/issue ever.

I know what you mean. I wish they finally have the happy ending they deserve. Together! And alive, preferably. But with Joss... well, that's not likely to happen. 🙁

It's not just lines from Buffy, it's also events, places, people... The whole world is connected to Buffy! Maybe that was Joss' plan all along. To take over the world using Buffy.

Of course he's a super evil genius. How else do you explain the fact that he likes killing his characters and seperating every single couple that steps into the verse?

This made me think of how comfortable they were together in their cabin panels with Buffy using his shower - the same kind of thing.

I LOVE IT - there is the quality of being poignant and charming about the issue - I felt so good after my first reading.

Also, I think it is significant that Spike is still in the bringer of knowledge and higher learning as he was in BS8. How is is about to connect with this alien life form and how eventually they both give so much to each other and how fundamentally his humanity bridges the gap between two different life forms and how both share such fundamental desires and needs. I hope that the metaphor and theme continues in BS9.

I like Jane Espenson's vision of Spike he really has made a life for himself - and I love how he changed the life of his alien insect crew/friends.

I really enjoyed the comic - Just a really nice treat for us Spike fans and with a couple of lovely little gems - like the "B + S" heart and how Buffy asks if Spike is he's home for good now.

am really looking forward to season 9 starting now!!

I liked the comic quite a bit.

Obviously the heart was adorable.

I loved the page talking about all the things he started doing to pass the time. His poetry. Didn't think I'd see that again. In a million years.

Why does his poetry just make him more adorable?

I hope he wanted a tooth brush so that as soon as he was done with it, he could kiss her.

That's totally what's going to be going down in MY brain.
