Not really. It may be there, but here they have charging stations all over the place. Starbucks, grocery stores, malls, libraries, parks; all have charging stations. Even if you do not have a home station, the idea that you cannot have an EV is somewhat disingenuous. You just have to plan and make accommodations. Most people would be able to drive at least a week with a charge, and in that time I am sure they would stop at a location in which they can charge their car whilst in the process of normal day to day activities.

Lack of a home charging station I would not count as one of the many drawbacks of getting an EV.
 
I dont see many electric cars yet, I know very little about them at all. But there must be enough on the coast since another charge point was approved there.

I should have started the fire tonight. I keep forgetting how cold it can get at night even after a sun sunbruny day.

You will never see a more realistic dragon on screen. The budget for House of Dragons was insanely huge. In many ways, this show is far superior to Game of Thrones. I highly recommend it.

Who thought dogs were blindly loyal? According to above link researchers have found that dogs are constantly judging their owner's competence. So next time you are struggling to open that bag of dog food and see your dog staring up at you, he is really thinking how the hell did I get stuck with you 🙂

And apparently female dogs are more judgmental than males - who would have thought it 😉

I bought so many things ! 😛

eBay were having a 20% off sale on 20 pound orders , so i spent a few hours shopping for a bargain basket . In the end I built a DVD order of preowned TV boxsets . I got loads for my money

Teen Wolf S1-3 (12 discs)
Babylon 5 S1-2 (12 discs)
Tru Calling (8 discs)
V (1985) (5 discs)

All that for £17.41 ! 😛


I really wanted blu rays of Teen Wolf and the remaster of Babylon 5 but they aint cheap . Maybe in a few years if the price drops 😉 . Also electric is getting so expensive for me , I'm looking to slash my computer and screen costs . A hundred watts here or there amount to quite a big difference at the moment . DVDs make a lot of economic sense right now .

Pretty excited by all of them . Been gagging for a hard copy of Teen Wolf so I can watch in good quality .Got really into the show recently 🙂 . V(the series), Babylon 5 and Tru Calling are difficult for me to source online . Lots of winter fun ! 🙂
 
Got a compliment on my "Halloween music." The guy didn't know I play this EVERYDAY. His dog didn't like it, though. 😅

Also just work up from the weirdest dream. I went to Bali with Hunga Munga and bluebird. I am scared of Bali and have never seen hunga munga but knew they were there! I think half asleep posting might be worse thing than drunk posting.

If we are going ahead with bizarre dreams, I had two last night that i can't explain:

1. At the house immediately west of the one across the street, there was a guy who collected large snakes and his front yard was completely torn up and turned to mud by the snakes and one got out, so he cut the head off about a foot behind the head. Our Border Collie, Toby, was sitting in the mud not far from the snake's head but since he is totally blind, he knew nothing about what was going on. The snake didn't move but no one knew whether he was alive or dead.

2. There was a special event/class held in a warehouse at our engineering school attended by all branches of engineering. I was in mining engineering in the dream (I am an electrical engineer IRL) and the mining engineers had a panel van near the door that was loaded with something that made hellish heat as soon as you opened the rear doors. I stepped aside from that and one of the female students appeared to be going into labour. I told her to breathe "In, two, three, four, out, two, three, four" a few times like La Maze training, which I haven't used in forty years. I went over to the convener of the event and he asked, "Do we need to do anything for her?" and I said, "Not yet.". I felt like I was on top of the situation.

So have many engineers does it take to screw in a light bulb?.......Answer, only one (they're very smart guys) but I'm sure there would be someone who would pipe up and say "I can do that" just like guitar players do!!😉

Naah, just that the hellmouth 🔥 will open it's jaws wide and swallow us all! I always knew I would someday die but I never thought it would be at the hands of politicians! Not very heroic and very disappointing. 😞
 
I had a long nap this arvo. Surprised that I seemed to need it. Not as if I have been busy or anything! Now thinking of Brinner for dinner... My teeth hurt and eggs are easy to chew.
