Not really. It may be there, but here they have charging stations all over the place. Starbucks, grocery stores, malls, libraries, parks; all have charging stations. Even if you do not have a home station, the idea that you cannot have an EV is somewhat disingenuous. You just have to plan and make accommodations. Most people would be able to drive at least a week with a charge, and in that time I am sure they would stop at a location in which they can charge their car whilst in the process of normal day to day activities.If you live in an apartment or condo, you are totally out of luck.
Lack of a home charging station I would not count as one of the many drawbacks of getting an EV.
