Trump tells progressive freshman congresswomen to 'go back' to their 'broken and crime infested' countries

I rest my case! This is all the proof you need of trumps bigotry. It’s abhorrant. And what do his supporters do? Rally behind, agree, and continue to promote this prejudice. It’s disgusting
I dislike Trump very much, but he could have done so much better by staying out of the discussion
As far as Trump's policies are concerned, if America continues with them, they should tear down the Statue of Liberty, the one with the inscription that says:
I don't understand the point in people defending Trump.

I think that President Trump is purposely stirring up the super liberal faction of the Democrat Party for the simple reason that, the more racket that they make, the harder it is for the moderates in the party to make their case. The more they bi*ch and moan, the better his term in office looks, and the more likely he is to be reelected. The Democrats have been so focused on "stopping" Trump for the last 2 years that they can't point to a single positive thing that they have accomplished. They have totally embraced the term "opposition" party, and it just may wind up biting them in the ass in 2020. Especially if they put Biden or Sanders on the ticket.

Please not Bernie or Biden! Or Warren!
There was an article in the Wall Street Journal that suggested Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was planted in the Democratic party by Donald Trump to make the party look bad and secure his re-election. So far, it's working. I doubt he's smart enough to plan such a thing but it was an interesting slam on the far left candidates.

"Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

AOC is such a complete and utter moron, that it must be an act. Maybe she IS a plant...no one can be that stupid on purpose.

That would certainly be a good business strategy, and Trump is, after all, a businessman, ot a politician.

Not a very good businessman however...unless you consider going bankrupt multiple times a good practice.
Awww, that's adorable.

You know where you can stick that

No he is not he's been bankrupt more times than the states he criticises and he's only successful appealing to the lowest common denominator true political genius is getting people to accept the highest common factor.

And yet he comes back from bankruptcy each time, and remains to this day one of the most successful businessmen in the country.
Because he inherited so much money he's bullet proof because he's great at pulling the wool over people's eyes it's big lie theory you tell a big enough lie brazenly enough people will believe you because they don't think anyone has the brass neck to lie that big he was also born into a world that gives him a lot of connections.

That would be true if his businesses would also come back stronger each time. Unfortunately his M.O. is usually to (after refusing to pay his contractors) bankrupt each one. Somehow making a bundle off the venture. There's a word for that: con man 😒

As expected, we have a response to his tweets: He Just Can’t Help Himself

Everyone around the president can read a poll and knows that his rage-tweeting is a liability; it is perhaps the biggest liability in a presidency that, with prosperity and a perception of peace, ought to be comfortably cruising to reelection.

Trump fans will insist that this is all just kvetching from a guy who never liked the president. They’ll insist that because they like Trump’s rage-tweeting (and perhaps the suggestion that AOC, Omar and the rest aren’t really Americans), a majority of the country does also. They’ll insist that the polls are wrong, and that Trump will overperform his current numbers. (To keep the presidency, Trump will need to overperform his current level of support by ten percentage points in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.) They’ll insist that because AOC and Omar and the rest are unpopular — and they are — that no one will mind Trump’s contention that they should go back to other countries.

Democratic divisions may well derail the party’s effort to defeat Donald Trump in 2020. But if that scenario occurs, it will come about in spite of the president, not because of him. Some might argue that all that Trump needs to do for the next fifteen months or so is just let the Democrats destroy themselves with radicalism and identity politics and endless accusations and counter-accusations.

Trump’s supporters seem more committed to doing what’s necessary to ensure his reelection than he is.

I'll have to admit, given your carefully thought out arguments and no doubt insight, I've been wrong about Donald Trump all along. All this time, I've been thinking of him as just a businessman who negotiated his way into the Oval Office. But now I see that you're right. Trump is a master politician, far superior to such legends as John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and even the master, Bill Clinton. Donald Trump is the perfect example of what a politician should be.

And God help us all,

As idiotic as Trump can be, ironically he's probably the best person to be dealing with North Korea. Because he's crazy enough to push the red button, it gives North Korea pause because they are facing someone who would wipe them out if they provoked him.

This is a perfect example of sarcasm used very effectively. 😅

About Trump pushing the big red button,
Trump said he wanted the American stockpile of Nuclear weapons to end, so if he does push the button that will be thrown in his face. Will Trump press the big red button? How many people live in N. Korea, how many surrounding countries might be affected by the fallout. The loss of life could run into billions. The man/ woman/ child in the street in America will have to live with that. The reverberations after the two bombs that fell on Japan will seem like nothing compared to what might be.

Jesus. I can't believe that so many people haven't figured out that Trump often says things just to mess with his detractors. And you guys take it so damn seriously. 😂 FFS, he's done this since the '80's! Its nothing new. He enjoys pissing people off, and the "overly sensitive" types fall for it every time. Suckers.

When people criticised him for cheating on Ivana, divorcing her, and marrying Marla Maples, he took potshots at them as well. Everyone knew that he talked a lot of shit, and no one really got bent out of shape over it. Why? Because they understood that's how Donald was. Big mouth, big wallet, big ego. 😅 But holy crap, after he triumphed over Killary and became President, defeated bedwetters gathered together; sobbing, moaning, and drooling all over their 'Killary for President' t-shirts. They still haven't accepted that the wrinkly assed cow lost.

It doesn't matter WHAT Trump says, because the Boo Hoo Brigade will always find fault with it. He's well aware of this, and sticks it to them by tweeting all kinds of things, just to get a reaction. He enjoys it, because he's a very vengeful person. Frankly, I'm extraordinarily amused by the entire situation.

Isn't Ivana the daughter and the wife Melania?
What do you think of the fact that he's been accused of sexual assault/rape by 22 women? And that he basically admitted to doing such things on tape? Because I know you may find it funny, but I don't. I was raped as a child, and it terrifies to see an alleged assaulter in such a powerful position. I feel victimized all over again. There's nothing I can do, but I would prefer if people didn't laugh about it. This isn't all in good fun. People's livelihoods are at risk. This is real life.

Accusations aren't proof. *sigh* And I grow weary of these women, who come out of the woodwork, with unfounded allegations. What do I think of how Trump "basically admitted to doing such things on tape"? Here's what I think: I don't care. I'm really, really tired of hearing about it. It's boring and repetitive.

You seem like a nice kid, so I'm going to say this as politely as possible: when people use their own experiences of being assaulted to prove a point, I automatically tune them out. And when someone assumes that I'd find something like that "funny," well...it makes me want to say something extraordinarily rude. But I won't, because as I said before, you seem like a nice kid. Consider this your 'Get out of jail free' card. 😉

I don't think that the question was actually addressed to me, but I would like to point out that an unproven accusation can't really be accepted as truth. regardless of what the accused might have to say about it. We reside in a nation where a person is assumed innocent until proven guilty, and having someone simply say that something was done doesn't necessarily make it true.
