I understand why Faith needs someone like Spike, but I don't think she's emotionally equipped to deal with him. His love is all consuming and that would terrify her, she wouldn't belive she was worthy of that level of devotion. Faith would never be inspirational enough for Spike, and he needs that in a partner, whether it was the uber-evilness/craziness of Dru or the goodness of Buffy. Faith might be inspirational in bed, but how long could that last, 20, 30 years tops😀

Weirdest one I encountered recently was Spike/Joyce, who besides Xander thinks of Joyce in that way? lol

If Spike was not already planned for Buffy's story, Spike/Dawn would be a transgressive commentary on the inappropriateness that was Buffy/Angel.

And not believe I have to say this a second time, the perfect person for Faith is obviously Anne, they have similar back rounds with different enough personalities, the testosterone type is attracted to its opposite the nurturing type. Faith's self esteem would feel good that gentle Anne loves her, which is all Faith wanted from Buffy. Anne likes to be protected but has grown into her and could help Faith who is still on that journey.

Xander is a demon magnet and certainly vampire Harmony is a demon. And yes, under certain circumstances, I could see this leading to a mad, passionate makeout session and they would be a hot looking couple. Quick, somebody write a fanfic about this! With illustrations!

I would like to nominate @sosa lola do this. Why?

1. She writes Xander / Spike as a ship but has stated that she is willing to write anyone with Xander.
2. She is a better writer in the English language than 95% of the people whose first language is English.
3. She has a great innate sense of pacing - the placement of clues and plot advancements.
4. Harder is no less speculative than Spander.
5. Whenever they fight, all he would have to do to make up with her is get her a unicorn statue.
6. She would like the challenge because it's Harder!

OK, now that that is settled, who do we draft to do the illustrations?

You don't have to dig. Watch her meeting Cordelia at the Hyperion in Disharmony and talking to Fred and later Spike in Harm's Way.

As an alternative, Harder could actually start from the point in "Real Me" where Dawn invites vampire Harmony into the house because she doesn't know any better and Harmony and Xander wrestle. Just have the rematch go well where they fight, Harmony gets injured, Xander helps her instead of dispatching her and things start from there.
