I kinda don't. It was a great series, fantastic performances, but I doubt they can emulate that again and I'd rather it just be an outstanding series of one season, than an outstanding first season and a potential poor second season. Second seasons often fail against the expectation set by the first.

Wasn't a super huge fan of the series overall (it was alright) but yeah, I agree.

I think it might do better as an anthology. However, they gotta good cast & crew, so maybe they'll surprise us. 🙂

Fair point but until I've been disappointed I want more. I can agree later if it comes to that. A second season will defintely struggle to match the first and won't live up to expectations but it can still be enjoyable.
 
As long as they keep it at eight episodes and come up with a different story but with the same characters then I'm happy. Can't see it sustaining itself over too many seasons. But I think it could be worth another one or two at least.
 
I can't believe I missed this thread! I watched this with my girlfriend over 2 days a couple of weeks ago. It was awesome. I don't like horror as a rule but this did just enough to be creepy and tense without putting me off.

Then we got some very well crafted characters. Great mysteries and good story pacing. A genuine 80's feel. I'm not old enough to remember the 80's but it totally feels like you've gone back in time.

A second season will definitely be tough now that the mysteries have been resolved. I'll definitely tune in and hope they have something good in mind.
 
I really enjoyed it. I am not much into horror shows but this one had a great cast that pulled me in. The kids were great actors I have enjoyed their performances.
 
With the new series of Twin Peaks and now this both due next year it should really be an exciting first part of 2017 for television🙂
 
^ That is funny! I saw a little bit of the show but not that bit🙂

Don't think I will watch the clip because if I see too much of cute kids messing about they suddenly become annoying😉
 
Finished it! Yes I know I'm way behind! I think one more ep would have really gone down well, just to really tie up all the loose ends. So instead of the epilogue in the last ep do another ep of just the epilogue, but overall a good series.

As for season 2 well I guess it would have to be a different story, maybe with a character or two from this one to tie them together?
