Babies and small children shouldn't be allowed in restaurants.

Ha. Just kidding. Well, at least they shouldn't be allowed to throw food around so the staff can to clean it up.
 
The people who make the rules must follow them as well and face the same consequences.

I would hate that. Part of the fun of being in a position to make rules is you don't have to follow them.
I think unpaid volunteering positions for over a month for adults should be illegal. I know someone who's doing a 9-5 full time position for a year for free 'for the experience'.
Also some shops have people do free work for the experience as well and I just think that's the company trying to save money having work done but not paying people. It's a shop- someone could teach them what to do as they go when they start at a paid position.

I'm starting to agree with this. I did a ton of volly work for charities. I used to say time was the best thing you could give to a charity. Now I see how much harder I worked than my mates. A desk job would have set me up for life instead. I dont regret helping the kids I did, but I do regret working as hard as I did, cos hard work does not pay off it youre not getting paid! Now I see it as exploitation and I was so drugged up I just fell for it. Life is too expensive now to be doing anything for free. The covid stuff really opened my eyes to how other people live and what they consider quality of life to be, now its just get yourself ahead and dont worry about anyone else cos they're doing it too.

Time is the best thing the average person can give to charity and I think that's an amazing thing to do but I'd fit it in for a few hours on the weekend or something like that. What charities really need is money- from the government or organisations specifically. I heard somebody say that the problem with charities/people helping out in countries like Africa so much is that in the long term it doesn't help the people in that country because it's kind of picking up the slack for the government and allowing them to continue ignoring the actual issues in the country. I'm sure it's more complicated than that and I don't really understand it fully but I wonder sometimes if that's the same thing on principle with charities in developed countries.

I worked for childrens charities and people with disabilities. Gov does TOO much for children/families but not enough for adults with disabilities. They forget them when they grow up. Outcast from community where as kids have school and sports.
When you are queueing for 10 minutes and the person in front of you waits until they are at the front of the line, and then acts surprised when they are asked what they want. Seriously what were they doing for the last 10 minutes. There should be a law making this an instant life ban!
(Admittedly this has happened twice to me today so may be overreacting 🙂 )

People who always humble brag. If you want to brag about something at least be honest and own it. Not sure what the law would be but maybe some form of banishment

I agree that tailgaters are idiots, but I do think that a lot of the time the person being tailgated brings it on themselves like people driving in the fast lane at exactly the same speed as a car in the middle lane. Anyone who gets tailgated more than once a year needs to look at their own driving 😉

People talking on, texting on, playing with, or just touching or holding their cell phone while in a vehicle, regardless of whether it's in motion or stopped!

....and said cell phone should automatically self destruct if any human contact is made after the engine is started!!! 📴

I'll bet you can't tell that I spend a lot of time on the road during the day! 😉


Oh, and no Christmas music or commercials to be played be Thanksgiving!🎄🦃

Universities that offer honourary doctorates should be stripped of their accreditation and any government funding. Let the people earn degrees like those of us who paid to attend.

From all the political advertising I have seen from the US, they ought to follow the Canadian law that prevents political advertising from happening until 38 days before an election.

There ought to be a law against....
Having to change the clock twice a year! The Senate has passed a bill, but the House won't get on it. If ever there was a bill that would have widespread bipartisan support, it's this one! (Can you tell that someone's crabby because it's dark too early?) ☀️🕑
