I'm starting to agree with this. I did a ton of volly work for charities. I used to say time was the best thing you could give to a charity. Now I see how much harder I worked than my mates. A desk job would have set me up for life instead. I dont regret helping the kids I did, but I do regret working as hard as I did, cos hard work does not pay off it youre not getting paid! Now I see it as exploitation and I was so drugged up I just fell for it. Life is too expensive now to be doing anything for free. The covid stuff really opened my eyes to how other people live and what they consider quality of life to be, now its just get yourself ahead and dont worry about anyone else cos they're doing it too.
