What you wished had happen

More crossover between Angel and Buffy :

Cordelia needed to return to Sunnydale and have conversation with Anya and Dawn and Tara.
Xander go to L.A and talk with Doyle or Lorne.
Angel meets Dawn
Kennedy died in L.A murdered by Angelus (okay that's mean I don't hate her 😀)
More Fred-Willow's interractions
Lorne meets Sweet
Illyria cofronts Glory

Wow know I want a Xander and Doyle meeting. Oh and a conversation about Cordelia with Xander telling Doyle what not to do if you want to be with her 🙂

OP as for Buffy dating at least another human, hell no to Scott or Parker- give me Owen please!

I've said many times that I wish Amy showed up at the end of Season 6 to face off against Dark Willow.

Drusilla, the real Drusilla not the First pretending to be her, should've been in Buffy Season 7 when Spike had his soul.

Angel Season 6 and/or a Faith spinoff are also givens for me.

I wanted to see Buffy meet Fred. It's just because I love them both, literally no logic whatsoever.
If that included Fred being on BTVS I would like to see more of Fred and Willow interacting too. I don't even need romance, (though it's better than Kennedy) I just think they would make a cute friendship.
I know others have said Angel meeting Dawn, but it really does bug me that didn't happen.
Willow, Dawn, or Faith should have appeared in season 5 of Angel. Having Dawn in TGIQ solves my previous problem as well, and I think it definitely would have been better than Andrew.

I agree that Angel and Dawn should have met but according to everyone's collective memory of the Key as Dawn, they met plenty of times when Buffy was dating Angel

1. Angel Season Six: for more Illyria-shenanigans alone.

2. The First appearing as Kendra and Jenny in the final season to haunt Buffy and Giles.

3. More POC representation on Buffy for sure. It blows my mind to this day that Aldris Hodge once had a minor role on Buffy and it would have been nice if that hunk of a man would have maybe had a bigger role. And even if he hadn't, more POC representation would have been nice.

4. Another human boyfriend character for Buffy would have been nice, but I don't see how one could have fit between Riley and Spike and I would not have wanted to have S7 be about a new boyfriend character when the show is about to end.

5. Tara should have never been evil. I am with Amber Benson here. However, Willow should have been less of a whiny downer in season seven.

6. Anya and Xander should have married in season six. I thought it was a cliché that Xander would leave her at the altar and it would have been far more interesting to see them struggle with the routine of a marriage rather than to have them split up.

7. Dawn should have gotten a boyfriend for the final season.

8. No Andrew, no Jonathan, no Warren in season seven. And less screen time for the geeks in season six.

Despite Buffy and Angel being such great shows, its a fact that both series could have been even more stellar had the stories panned out in a different way, given the quality of the actors and characters at the writers' disposal.

A lot of the early Buffy episodes were just filler episodes for example. The same goes to a lesser extent for Angel. Overall, the arcs of each season were written well, but remember both Buffy and Angel experienced big blows to their narratives. For example, when they gave Angel his own show at the end of Buffy Season 3, Angel leaving changed the direction and tone of Buffy drastically for the ensuing seasons, which were a lot less interesting in my opinion. The show suffered as a result. You've seen great characters, and lost many of them far too early or they were under-utilised. And you've seen far too many mediocre 'plot-filler' characters that took away from the better actors and storylines. Of course, hindsight is 20/20...
